This was my Easter booty:

3 Japanese erasers that look like cakes. I got a bar cake, a pink round cake and a yule log.
(They make great doll props. And the yule log reminded me of something I saw on 3 Minute Cooking.)

My dad said I made a good basket. I can make the best baskets for myself. I know what I like. This will be the closest thing to a Saniro basket.

I was sort of disappointed that I didn't get another Hello Kitty in a rain coat. I have one, but the face got all scuffed up after my dad accidentally dropped mine under the heater.

I filled up on my bargain ham.

Happy Easter Earthquake!

I forgot it was Easter today. Bad me! I don't know I guess it's sort of lost it's whimsical child-like magic. I'm still holding out for that $120 Hello Kitty basket from the Sanrio store. Maybe one year I'll buy one for myself.

The funny thing is that I haven't eaten Peeps all day. The small box of pink ones are tempting me, but I like my Peeps "aged". I don't have them fight either.

What about that earthquake!? The funny thing is that my mom felt it before I did. I was leaning over on my bed reaching for something. It was long, fluid/wavy, and weak. Well in my area at least. The My Little Ponies I have up that fell during the last quake didn't even topple. The funny thing is I didn't immediately flee like I usually do.

I cut my finger chopping shrimp, so please excuse my bad typing.

I just want to say a quick thing about writing. I don't know why,but I seem to find inspiration for my stories everywhere. It's strange, but in a good way.

Easter

This Easter I don’t know I was just feeling nostalgic. I was thinking about the old glitter eggs egg dying kit commercial they use to show on tv a lot back in the 80s. For some reason it isn’t on youtube. I was also thinking about the classic Cadbury egg commercial with the auditions.

Yesterday when my mom was dying eggs the set came with some stamp markers and I don’t know why I went crazy for them. I can just be so childish sometimes. She dyes eggs for my dad. I don’t like dyed eggs. I really don’t see the point of them anymore. I haven’t since they don’t have anything inside them like the plastic ones could.

I got a Blondie CD as a present. It made me think about how much I like them and how I listened to them before I started listening to No Doubt and Garbage. Some of those songs are just so badass like “One Way or Another” and “Rip Her to Shreds”. You know what’s kind funny? Back when I first got into Blondie at like the age of 8 my “hip” cousins on my dad’s side didn’t know who they were. Maybe I’ll write an album review. I don’t know I haven’t decided yet.

Even though I'm still sick I ate a lot of ham. :P
