Give the Middle Finger!

My dad is still pissed about the sign spinner job. I did work for free for 15 minutes. I think I didn't get the job because I sucked at it. I think I need more practice, and my own props. It's hard to do sign tricks in a Statue of Liberty gown. Maybe I need to do what I see the lazy sign spinners doing they get some kind of stick like a broom or a crutch then they tie the sign to that and wiggle the sick. Plus he's doing that thing again where he thinks because I'm good at something I can get a job doing it. Hello!? Really!? I have no experience or degree. I only want to finish school to shut you up!

I got a new assignment I have to go around and beg for jobs at physical places and document it. So degrading and hard! Don't the social workers realize a lot of these people don't have cars? Plus they give you worthless tokens. They are only good for the metro!

Which made me think about McDonald's what if all the employes are scared and want to save their asses and trick me? I feel this is not an isolated incident. And I got a lot of conflicting information. Some people told me that a lot of places "accept" applications, but they don't do anything with them because they don't need anybody and the time and then just throw them out. So what would be the point of wasting your time going to some place filling out an application and they just throw it away because they are constantly accepting them? Or maybe it is a high turnover rate?

M.I.A. you are a smarty. You are great!

Speaking of halftime shows I have some good proposed parings for next year.
Weird Al and Katy Perry a California boy and a California Gurl.
Ted Nugent and Eminen
Give No Doubt a whole show last time they were on they shared it with Shania Twain.
Blink-182
Lana Del Ray and the Monkees old and new
Justin Beber and Barenaked Ladies
Maroon 5

There is no Love

Let's go a little old school with this blog. Carnac the Magnificent style. Me, my father, and a person with a bad head cold. Name three things that have no taste.

I was thinking about what I said yesterday about the halftime show. Was I too harsh? Do I really have no taste? I'm nobody important and most of the time what I say has no leverage. I really tried to like the show as I was watching it. I was trying view it with an open mind, but I'm sorry I can't force myself to like it.

It sort of made think of that Gwen vs Fergie debate about who copied who. They are contemporaries deal with it.

Here are my picks for next years show:
Dave Grohl
No Doubt getting a whole halftime show the last time they shared the show with Shania Twain
A tribute to the 1990s
Blondie
Weird Al Yankovic
John Mellencamp
David Lee Roth
Jim Davis draws cartoons set to music and an appearance by Garfield too bad Lorenzo Music and Lou Rawls are dead.

Food Recipes (reciglees)

Think of this as the companion blog to Emma Would Eat That

I think there should be a glee brand sandwich maker. It would be something official to make a “grilled cheeseus” on.

I like the glee recipes that are posted on the Fox website. Why is there a recipe from Brittany? I like hers though it’s easy, and I have all the ingredients on hand. Maybe I’ll make a grilled cheeseus, but I don’t know. I didn’t like Emma’s sandwich recipe. I’m very particular about my sandwiches, and I don‘t like PB&J on toasted bread. I don’t want to make my own tots. I’ll just get a bag of them in the frozen food section. After thinking about tots I thought about Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, and I want to make some nachos like he did in the movie.

I really hope that the episode airs right after the post game show and that the station doesn‘t decide to air old syndicated Simpsons or news or something. I remember that happened on CBS when they showed the post game show, news and then Survivor. The post game shows usually run long anyway. During that time I can make some food.

I really hope the episode lives up to all the hype. I hope it's not like Friends was. That post Super Bowl episode was pretty lackluster. There were a few good moments like Marcel coming back. I do plan on writing a review on the Glee episode.

Emma Would Eat That

It seems my family can't agree on what to eat during the Super Bowl. I suggested peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because they fit in the theme of Glee since Emma eats those. Then I thought of 2 other things to make grilled cheese sandwiches (preferably with a religious figure on them). I could also serve Cheerios cereal, but I don't like the plain kind. I like the honey nut ones. That really sounds like a menu for a preschooler or something. I can have wine coolers too Puck got Quinn drunk on those (mentioned in Preggers)

I don't want to make anything too hard since I'm a bad cook.
I was also trying to go with some food that had to do with the different cities playing. I had lots of ideas for Green Bay, but I could not come up with a food for Pittsburgh. I was thinking cheese steak, but then I remembered that is Philly. I have a good idea for some neutral treats serve yellow colored things like candies, cookies and cupcakes. Both teams wear yellow.

How was your Superbowl Sunday? If you celebrate this unofficial US holiday. I really had no preference this year. It's not like I really follow football or anything. It's just an excuse for me to pig out on a lot of food. I did eat my JR's Beef Jerky. My dad got mad because I wouldn't offer him any. He lost his chance days ago. I haven't felt this down during a Superbowl since Superbowl XXX (30) back in 1996. I was having a lot of problems back then.

I had such a hellish shopping experience at Wal Mart today. I will not be shopping there again. I had to wait 20 minutes while a worker and customer just chatted it up and then they chatted it up with another worker. Worker #0002521 at store #3522. FUCK YOU!

There is nothing really great that they sell there anyway that I can't get somehwere else. They discontineued that good soda I really liked anyway. I was boycotting the store for a while like back in 2004. This is the reason I don't shop at Fry's anymore even though I got my computer there. There is only one store that I constantly go to and I will put up with bad service and that is Sanrio stores.

Perhaps me waiting around and not saying anything shows how meek I really am. I should be more feisty? I am a red head now. I just didn't want to seem like a rude customer. But wouldn't the guy who was just talking be the rude one? What should I expect? It was Wal Mart.
