Hello "Sexy" Kitty!

I think my slutty Hello Kitty costume idea was used. It was mentioned in this blog. (please notify me if the pictures are not to be used. In that other blog)

This "Happy Kitty" costume is pretty cheap. It's only the dress, and I think the leg warmers. It doesn't even include the hat! It's sold separately! I'd buy the hat and the bag by itself. They are cute. That mannequin kinda creeps me out.

Disclaimer: The pictures I used on this entry are not watermarked and I forgot where I got them. The one with all the Hello Kitty costumes I got from a newspaper.

I Think I Could Make That

In the spirit of the release of Alice in Wonderland here is a blog that is semi-themed.

This is an old blog I was going to write a while ago. This happened back when I was having computer problems and such.

Actually the story starts is that the first computer was not compatible with the old printer we had. Of course this situation enrages my dad, and feels he is being scammed. The problem was than Cannon never updated the drivers for the particular model we had. Anyway we had to get a new printer. They were going to help us install it. There were a lot of problems with installing it since it wouldn’t install and it should have because they were both for Windows 7. They kept trying to do it, and it was taking a long time. My dad kept making excuses for not leaving the store or even going home because he believed he was being scammed. Aside from him saying his blanket “computer crap” statement. We had to go to the mall to wait. Of course we ended up at the Hot Topic store. Well that’s the gist of it. That story could be it’s own blog entry.

Hot Topic was selling a bunch of Alice in Wonderland stuff like shirts, costumes, accessories, bags, hats, and other stuff. They were also selling those little top hats. I was examining them to see how they were made. I know there are quite a few places online that give you tutorials on how to make your own. Those little hats were pretty expensive too.

They were also selling Hello Kitty stuff. They had these ears for sale for $8.
I know I can make my own for so much cheaper.

I did buy something (not Alice or Hello Kitty related) there, but I’ll write about that in a separate blog.

Chaotic Randomness Sent you Here

I woke up late and I was thinking about the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (1951 cartoon). I know a lot of people have the new movie on their mind. I was thinking about the little song he sings when he is late.

On my way to class I found a penny and it was face up so I picked it up. Lucky! I was going to pick it up even if it was face down because it's money. I was listening to "Run Baby Run" before class, and for some reason it was getting me pumped.

My teacher looks like somebody familiar, but I can't place it. Maybe it was somebody I saw on tv? I really bothers me because I can't place it.

This class has a lot of old people. The problem I think I have with this class is that a lot of the people know each other a from a previous class they took together that the teacher taught. She said it was cosmic...something...uh I forget the exact wording she used. That sent you to her class. You know it's the same concept as "Chaotic Randomness" or fate or God or whatever else you want to call it. When she was talking about this I was thinking about Shirley and my mind just wandered. ;P

She wanted to know about us, and I said I run a blog; naturally. Although I didn't mention the name/url of it. You know in case I write something "mean" about one or more of my classmates (see below). The teacher said it was my soapbox. Isn't that what my rant blog is for?

Some lady who said that she's a cat lady thinks I like cats because I have a Hello Kitty backpack. I don't like Hello Kitty because she is a cat. I like her for what she represents. I like a lot of cat characters like Tom Cat Sylvester Garfield.

I'm more of a dog person; I don't like cats' finicky personality. I like the dogs' needy personality. You know if a dog was a person they would be pretty annoying. They would constantly want to be evaluated. They might get sued by Wade Blasigame though.

We have to read a memoir for class and do a presentation on it. Was Jericho's book a memoir or an autobiography? I think a lot of people in that class won't write about a wrestling book.

The most annoying thing that happened in class was that there was this couple sitting next to me kept having me explain the assignments, and I couldn't really listen to the teacher. I had to explain it to them twice, and they still didn't get them! After class was over they asked the teacher. I won't be sitting next to them next class, or I'll try not to.

I think I broke my phone. I dropped it a few days ago while I was trying to answer a call. I fell on the cement with phone in hand, and the battery fell out. It stays on intermittently. I don't even do anything to it. I think it would be easier just to get a new one.

It's already my 2nd day of school and I'm already tired of it. I sound like Kiyomi from the Japanese morning drama I watch. :P

Goody Gum Wrappers!

The alternate title to this blog was going to be "Wrap it Up". This blog is to showcase my collection of Sanrio gum wrappers I saved and collected over the years. I though it would be fun to post some blogs showcasing some of my collections.

I'm going to sort the wrappers by year and character.
1989
Here are 3 Hello Kitty gum wrappers that came in a 5 pack there were 2 other wrappers I think they were pink and green. I think the pink one was strawberry flavored and the green one was melon flavored.
This one shares a design with other 3, but it contained a larger piece of gum. I did use to enjoy Sanrio peach flavored gum as a child.
This is Little Twin Stars. I like them and I've written about them before.
This is a Just For Fun wrapper. Yeah that bear is named Just For Fun. I didn't know that back then. I just liked the way it looked. The colors are very 80s.

You will also notice that these wrappers also have the flavor names in Japanese.
Here is a Pochacco wrapper from 1995. He was a popular character in the mid 90s. You will notice that this wrapper doesn't have the name of the flavor on it in Japanese. You will also notice that this wrapper has the old Sanrio logo.

Here are 3 wrappers from 1997; 2 of them are Keroppi and one is Badtz-Maru. I think I bought the Badtz-Maru one because I just wanted to try the cola favor of gum. I also wanted to try the kiwi flavor too, and I like Keroppi.
If this Little Twin Stars wrapper from 2003 looks a little funny it was because I decoupaged it to a book and it didn't scan correctly. Sorry the quality is so bad, but the picture is so cute!
Here is another Little Twin Stars wrapper from 2003 again it's a peach flavored gum. I think I bought this one because the wrapper featured Lala with pink hair and Kiki with blue hair instead of Lala with yellow hair and Kiki with brown hair.
Here's a Pinki Lili wrapper from 2003.
This is a Frooliemew wrapper from 2004. The only reason I bought it was because I had never seen that character before. In 2004 it was a new character.

I did not include my other 2 shiny Pochacco wrappers that had Chiclets type gum in them, but if you want to see them I will post them.

Miscellaneous Blog #22

I haven't written one of these in a month?

Ok first off I want to say that the latest episode of 30 Rock reminded me of a fan fiction story I wrote 2 years ago during the strike. I use to get a lot of writing done in my boring US History class. I use to write blogs and fan fiction in there. I also use to make some great doodles. I guess it would be inevitable to have Tracy strike against something.

While I was looking for something I found some more Hello Kitty themed costumes. I will not call these Hello Kitty costumes because I feel they aren't really dressed up as Hello Kitty.
This one is called Rockabilly. It's cute. I like the Rockabilly style. Not sure if I could ever pull off wearing that style. You need to look a little more polished for that style. Hello Kitty and Rockabilly are 2 things I never though of putting together.
This one is called Charleston. Flapper? Who knew Hello Kitty traveled back in time to the 1920s? Prohibition? Oh wait Hello Kitty can't drink anyway. She's like 8.
I'm not sure of the name of this one. It's some type of sock hop outfit. It's cute. I wish the shirt was a little longer. I might wear that. I could see Hello Kitty doing a 1950 sock hop theme/motif. With lots of rainbows, milkshakes, and a jukebox.
The Harajuku costume makes sense. Hello Kitty was created in Japan. Well except I think this costume is horrid looking.

I already wrote about the sexy knockoff version and the official version.

You know the trend this fall in hair color is...brown. Ugh! :P (that is a disgusted tongue emoticon)

During the time that my computer was broken I kept tweeting on twitter. Since I was just sending the messages by text I wasn't sure how many characters were in my message, so I made this. It's a twitter character counter. It's helpful and really low tech. :/

Sexy Nostalgia Part 2

The title is a little misleading. I’m back talking about more of those sexy style nostalgic costumes.

This blog talks about Hello Kitty and the Care Bears.

First off is the Care Bears. I never knew you could make a Care Bear “sexy”. I guess anything can be made “sexy” if you try hard enough.

Ok I know the picture has 3 costumes in it. I’m going to address the one with the ruffly skirts first. These are knockoff costumes. I think they are suppose to be Cheer Bear and Bedtime Bear. The Pink one has a symbol that looks like a mix between Cheer Bear and Love-a-Lot, and the turquoise one looks like a mix between Bedtime and Wish Bear. The symbol on the pink one reminds me of a knockoff inflatable Care Bear I got at the county fair many years ago.

The Grumpy costume is official. It’s cute and a little more modest. Too bad they don’t have any Friend Bear costumes. That is my favorite bear.
There are some other cute official Care Bear costumes, but they are for babies/toddlers.
If I was going to dress as a Care Bear I’d want a costume like this. Modest and anonymous.

Hello Kitty what have they done to you!?
First is a “Hello Pretty” costume. I found this last year while I was looking for ideas on how to make my own Hello Kitty costume. Aside from the cat ears if I saw this I would not think you were dressed as Hello Kitty.
This other costume is a licensed Sanrio costume. I don’t see how this is Hello Kitty either even if it is official. It sort of reminds me of those old smock costumes with the pictures of the character on it.
Personally when I think of Hello kitty I think of her in those overalls.
I designed a sexy Hello Kitty costume too, but it’s an overalls version.

Wow! I Look Young! ^-^

I was very excited this morning when I saw that the Winx Club was back on tv! ^-^ Yeah I nerded out for it. I hope the 4th season gets dubbed and shown in the US. Maybe I should just invest in a region 2 DVD player so I can play European DVDs.

I forgot to mention that my dead friend is physically dead. It's not like we had a falling out and she is "dead to me". I miss her a lot. When I was a freshman in college we would send correspondence to each other. It was funny because she use to think I was so on top of the then current youth culture. I never really was, but it looked that way to her. I think she thought I was hip and trendy. She wanted to know why No Doubt was so popular with people my age. I could never really explain that to her. I'm such a sentimental person I saved all the correspondence she sent me. It's hidden in a secret place. I have all the correspondence my friends have given me over they years. (snail mail and hand written paper notes)

It's hard when you meet people and you don't know their name. I hate when that happens. It feels so informal. So I decided to ask for names and when I did I met somebody with the same first name as me. LOL! My name is so common. We just laughed. Well I'll remember her name. I bet I have a 1 in 3 chance of meeting somebody with the same first name as me. It's that common.

I got the strangest compliment today I met this girl and she is in high school and she asked me what high school I go to. I haven't been in high school since 2002. Do I really look that young? I don't care it's clean and I'm taking it. ^-^ Maybe it was the Hello Kitty shirt I was wearing? Strange things happen to me in that Hello Kitty shirt. One time I wore it and I won a trivia game in my film history class, and for the prize I chose the Hello Kitty toothbrush. I'll elaborate more on that story if you want; in another blog.My hair was not in a "childish" hair style like pigtails. It was in a frizzy bun. Which made me think 10 years ago I was going into 10th grade. I thought about this since it is the 10 year anniversary of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? I remember when the show first came out was when I first got my stuffed pikachu.
