I was watching Angel’s Friends and the more I watch it the more it reminds me of Winx Club. (aside from the English voice actors)

Bloom and Raf’s color is a shade of blue. Although some claim that Bloom’s is teal. They come from a “mysterious” origin. Bloom’s was the destruction of Sparx/Domino . Raf’s was having an angel mother and a mortal father. Both of them have some problem why they can’t reach another advanced form. They “force” it to happen.

Prism Fly is that every angel and devil has a chromatic essence. On the angels Prism Fly looks mysteriously similar to Enchantix. Urie’s wings look more like Belelivix. Although the female devils get very elegant outfits which don’t seem very devilish at all. They look like something in between Disenchantix and Enchantix. The male devils outfits just look like fancy casual clothes. They are not sparkly. Why was Cabiria's color blue?

I’d buy a set of official DVDs of Angel's Friends (English dub or sub) for a reasonable price.

I feel Fine

I started out the day doing a bunch of mundane things like shopping and other boring stuff. I missed Belmont since I was napping, but I managed to wake up and catch the replay.

I'm working on some new recipes. I'm trying to make a good peanut butter and honey sandwich. So far I have made one with honey on one side and peanut butter on the other. I didn't like it because the honey crystallized on the bread. Then I tried peanut butter on both sides of the bread to stabilize the honey like I do with jelly. That also didn't work. Maybe I need to mix the peanut butter and the honey together? I want to make a cold sandwich. Most of the recipes I find online are for warm ones like a grilled cheese.

I made a new drink too it's cherry limeade (minute maid) mixed with a little bit of lemon lime soda.

Nothing happened!

I'm somewhat disappointed. At least I'll get to eat the candy I bought this morning.

Maybe it's just me but I don't associate the Blondie song "Rapture" with the end of the world. Seriously I have no idea what that song is about.

My comments are all back including one about Angel's Friends that seemed to be in limbo.

I still gotta review those panda cookies I bought! x-x

I’m thinking about things a lot of people remember and not things I would remember. Not a lot of people remember the presentation I did on tootsie rolls or the story I wrote about a possum. Or my Halloween memories.

I got a free day today!

I ate my toasted cheese sandwich early in the morning. I also ate onion dip and summer sausage for breakfast. I did because I thought my dad left early, but he really went to the store. After he officially left. I got to work. I had to do chores this time since I'm on thin ice. Listened to "Why do you Love Me" aloud. I never really get to do that anymore. I also sang some other songs aloud too really loudly. (I'm not naming the songs. They weren't Garbage songs.)

After jumping on the bed to "Sex is not the Enemy" and realizing it wasn't as gratifying as I thought it would be. I didn't want to jump too high because the bed I have now is really high off the ground. I don't want to go around telling people I hit my head on the ceiling jumping on my bed to the song "Sex is not the Enemy". After I did that I quickly tweeted about it. "Jumping on the bed to 'Sex is not the Enemy' was not as gratifing as I thoght it would be :("

I was looking over something I wrote in March and my handwriting is so messy I can't even decipher it. I think I wrote something about Cameron from the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but it might say "Camry". I'm not sure. Another thing I wrote was about finding my way through the school and the different hallways.

The list of banned words is out. I use a lot of them way too much! Doh! What an "Epic Fail"! @o@ Does this mean I can't say "I failed college algebra" or "If you don't write that term paper on termites for your biology class you're gonna fail"? I didn't even know what "BFF" meant until 7th grade. I thought it was the name of a local gang or something. Don't tell the Trollz about his. Where I went to junior high and high school there was a gang that had the initials S.K.A. so when ever people would have ska items (related to the music) people would think they were in that gang. I'm sad "back story" is a banned word I've been using it since the late 90s/early 2000s. :( I'd better stop saying "Google myself" it just sounds wrong. "I'm just sayin'" has been worn out since Shane Helms was overusing it on WWE programming. If "A-ha moment" is banned then why isn't the phrase "take on me"?

I got some hair clips from my grandma. At least it wasn't some small clothes. I think it better when she gives me something that doesn't have a size like some kind of trinket or knick knack. I liked the way they look. They look very 90s. I wasn't sure what to do with them until I started reading an old fashion magazine; a February issue. I thought I could wear the clips for Valentine's Day. They have hearts on them. I tweeted about my gift "Didn't get small clothes from grandma. I got some hairclips. At least they fit."

My prediction was partially correct my dad got a 17 1/2 neck size shirt. He usually gets a 17 neither size fits him. He also got a jacket, but he said it fit him.

I'll be waiting to see what KCET will be showing tomorrow.

I saw the first episode of Angel's Friends. I'm not as confused about the show as I use to be. The angels and devils have to take turns influencing the human who has free will and the choice is ultimately theirs. They go to school on earth, but they learn angel or devil things. Miki had to repeat her first year.

I'm wondering how Shit My Dad Says does in the ratings. If it's a hit or a flop. Or somewhere in between. Maybe it will inspire more people like me in hopes of posting something on the internet and getting their own tv show.

One of the local channels has been showing a Portuguese dub of Thundercats. It's interesting. It was the same channel I saw Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion on. I think the Thundercats cartoons are ripped or something. They also show the old Famous Studios Superman cartoons and Galaxy Trio. The Galaxy Trio cartoons have a Boomerang watermark on them.

Angel's Friends VAs

I finally screencaped and analyzed the credits. I don't know that you can see it very well. It looks like Raf is voiced by Lisa Adams. According to the IMDB she voiced May in Pokémon. Angel's Friends is not listed. Although the character sounds more like Bloom who is voiced by Liza Jacqueline. I can't really make out the name of URIE's VA. I can't make out the next character's name, but she is voiced by Lisa Ortiz. Like I mentioned before her voice is very distinctive. It looks like Sweet is also voiced by Lisa Adams. I can't make out the next name. Gas is voiced by Dan Green. I thought I heard his voice in that show. I can't make out the name after that. The professor is voiced by Mike Pollock.

It was really hard to make out the names because the channel is a subchannel and the compression rate is 2Mbps. According to RabbitEars.Info. Also the DVD I recorded it on was on LP mode.

I was still confused about the voices from the English dub for Angel's Friends so I sent an email to Veronica Taylor (She was the voice of Ash in the 4kids English Pokèmon dub) . She has an official page. I hope she replies, but I'm not holding my breath.

How crazy is the marketing for the movie Eat, Pray, Love? Like all the "inspired" jewelry. There is other stuff being sold like authentic items from Italy, India and Bali. If I were to reenact any scene from the movie/book it would be the part when Wayan receives the money, and I'm playing the part of Wayan. Or the petition scene.

Caught the Teen Choice Awards yesterday and felt really old. I was only watching for Cena's appearance. Cena doesn't look too bad in a suit. I'm so use to seeing him in jean shorts. I got to see Cory. I still wonder how long Fox will milk Glee? I give them about 3 more years. (Gleeks don't be mad at me I like this show as much as the next Gleek.) It makes me realize how out of touch I am with pop culture.

Since I've been stressed out this month I've been having really crazy dreams including one with a talking lab dog who bought saladitos.

PPG style Stella

I watched Angel's Friends again just to get a feel for it. I persuaded my mom into watching it with me. She is no expert on the Winx Club or anything like that. I can't even remember if she has seen a whole Winx Club episode. She did agree with me that the shows are very similar.

Today is the last day of the month. August already? :/ That usually isn't a good month for me.

Here is some Winx Club fanart I drew of Stella PPG style. I think it looks kind of silly. I think I'll draw other characters in PPG style like Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew and Kimberly from Power Rangers.

Angel's Friends

I don't know much about this show. I can't find a lot of info about it in English on the web. I was very curious to see this show since I heard it was like the Winx Club. The shows do have a lot in common. They are both Italian productions, the English dub I saw has some of the 4Kids voice actors, the characters have a similar look to them. Raf has Bloom's voice and Cabiria has Musa's voice. Liza Ortiz's voice is very identifiable. I think I might have heard Veronica Taylor and Dan Green in there too. I'm not sure who dubbed this. I can't find any info on the company or the voice actors.

I've only seen 1 episode, and read what little I can find about this show on the web. I sort of understand the plot. It's about angels and devils who help people out. When the angel and the devil get into an argument they challenge each other to something like horse riding. The characters can also disguise themselves like Sailor Moon does with the Luna Pen. They also have a henshin/transformation when they change into their outfits. The angels wear outfits that are sparkly. There are 2 schools an angel and devil school. Which reminded me of the 3 schools in the Winx Club (I'm using the 4Kids names) Alfea, Cloud Tower, and Red Fountain. I'm not including Beta since it was only mentioned and never shown on the series. Or at least the episodes I saw.

There is a problem with the show. It wasn't dubbed very well. I noticed the characters' mouths still moving when they are not speaking. It airs too early where I live. That is more of an affiliate problem.
