Keep Stickin it to Me!

Some of these came out blurry. I was trying to take pictures of these stickers off a lunch box. I think I just liked the stickers because they had (scalloped?) edges like a stamp. I forgot where I got them. I think they came in a small plastic purse with other things like an eraser and a pencil and some other school supplies. I think I put them on my lunch box circa 1989. That is also why some of the stickers look a little tattered. I was too lazy to clean up the edges of the pictures.

These rabbit stickers are very cartoony. In some of these stickers the rabbit kind of looks like Bugs Bunny. My favorite is the one of the rabbit singing.
These are of a squirrel or a chipmunk?
Skunk
Mice stickers. Lovin' the Supermouse!
The gray raccoon ones look like an old cartoon style.
The rest are just other designs. The rabbit one did have a scalloped border, but it got trimmed and used for a school project.

Stick it to Me Again!

This is the sequel to Stick it to Me. I wanted to post this earlier, but it took a while to just input all the different sticker and scan them and stuff.

Here are some more old stickers I found. Sorry the quality of some of the pictures. I took the pictures of the item that the sticker was stuck on. Some of them are poor scans. The one with the glitter I added to make it look cuter for a notebook I was decorating.

Enjoy.

I Iz Famous!

Look! I was quoted on a website. It's the last post on the page. My screen name is "pikachulover" there.
Obviously this person does not know my father who still instates "quiet time".

I don't know why people think that Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear is a real toy. It's not, sorry. I found an anachronism in the commercial it's suppose to be like from 1983, but the lunchbox the girl has is definitely a late 80s design. I do give them props for making the commercial vintage looking and inspired by 80s toy commercials. The commercial reminds me of a mix of the Heart to Heart Bear, Care Bears, Tuggabows, and My Buddy/Kid Sister commercials.

Here is something interesting that came my way mid-blog. People are emailing the memoir class teacher messages and stuff. Everybody or most everybody was sad that the popular guy did not include his email in the list. I felt I was pressured to do it. I "cracked". :P Bad Me! ;P
Here would be my email to the teacher/my class: "Doing nothing, basketball is riveting! Actively looking for work. That will help me produce more stories."

Working on a new sticker blog. A continuation of the last one Stick it to Me.

Stick it to Me

So I was out at the local dollar store and they had these old style stickers. I had to buy a sheet. Although back in the 80s the sheets of stickers were larger. But they are exactly the same designs/pictures. Back in the 80s I use to get my stickers at a Sanrio store named Casper. It was in San Gabriel, but I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore. I got my first backpack there too. I miss when the different Sanrio stores had unique names like the one in Montebello was named Pinocchio. There was another store named Rainbow Gate, but as a kid I would call it Rainbow Bridge. I would go to the mall and ask where the Rainbow Bridge store was, and get some strange looks. Rainbow Bridge is the name of a Jimi Hendrix film.
I know I have some other ones I bought back in the 90s that I put in an album. If I find those I'll scan them too.
There were also these Sailor Moon stickers for sale. I had to buy them because they were Sailor Moon and even if one sticker was missing. It had to be of Moon.
Here are some other throwback stickers I got at the Target a few months ago. Mello Smello. I had some root beer ones, cherry ice cream ones, fudge sundae ones and lifesavers ones. I also have a knockoff one I got in 3rd grade that has a picture of Garfield standing next to a pizza slice that was pizza scented. It smelled really spicy. If I find the Garfield one I'll scan it too.
