Nail Polish Personality

At some places when you ask for their name unless it's on a name tag or something. The worker(s) give you that "Oh Shit!" face. The only reason I do it is because I'm required to. It's part of the assignment. Here is all the required information I have to fill out : date, business address, name of person that you spoke to, and business phone number.

I've noticed that the bigger more established stores like Express are more forgiving. They don't seem as snobby/scared. Maybe because some of those company's have a referral section on the applications

I was dawdling in the Best Buy. I was looking to see if all the Monkees CDs were gone. Well after a singer dies their CD/single sales rise. Sad but true fact. They did have an ample selection of box sets of the tv series season 1 and 2. On a side note there was an ample selection of Whitney Houston CDs.

I've narrowed down my job hunter persona names I'm thinking either "4" which is a reference to the Amazoness Quartet and the number 4 being bad luck in Eastern culture. Plus 1+3=4 like western 13.

My other name idea was "pink eye" since pink eye is something people don't want and avoid it. Like annoying job seekers going door to door who ask questions and take names. (That sounds like a wresting promo) It's a reference to the Amazon Trio. All the members of the trio have a name with eye in it. There is Fisheye, Tiger's Eye, and Hawk's Eye. It also made a reference to South Park, but it wasn't intentional. And possibly Pepper Ann too.

Maybe I should keep working on it. :/

I was in the sephora store trying out nail polish. I think the glitter and the black look great. The orange and green aren't for me. They are too bright, but they are trendy. That glitter is great! It reminds me of the glitter nail polish I wore in junior high. They are the ones in this ad. I never bought them through the ad. I use to find them at the Long's Drugs. I like this ad because it says about the personality type/mood. My mood is "Party". That is totally me! LOL! I use to wear jet multi-glitter. There was so much glitter in that old color. The black was really nice too. It's an iridescent black. I've never seen that before without mixing custom colors.

Had a fun time watching somebody on the bus air drums and guitar. They were switching between drums and guitar or maybe it was and/or bass?

Remember...

It's been 10 years since. I remember it pretty well. I did mange to write about it in my diary. I was a senior in high school. September 11th is like Columbine in a way. Both events were tragic and I got the wrong info. In my time zone it happened early in the morning. At first I didn't know what was happening. My mom woke me up and told me what was going on. I thought she was joking or something. It was early and a long walk down the hall to the tv in the living room. I just turned on the radio in my room. It was hard to find the story. I ended up hearing an update on the Rick Dees show. I misheard the information and thought there were more planes headed to LA.

I got up to see what was on the tv. I couldn't stop watching it. It was addicting. I didn't know if there was school or not. When I called the attendance office I couldn't get anyone who spoke English. I went to school anyway.

When I got there I was asking around to see if anybody else knew what happened. My friend didn't know. When I went to school I was asking around about WWII and Pearl Harbor. I asked a few of my favorite former teachers if they knew what was going on. But everybody was too young to remember it. In first period we watched the news. Somebody in the class (not the teacher) insisted we watched Good Day LA. After first period I went to check on a different friend. In second period the teacher said she was aware what was going on, but we should work on our pots. (it was a ceramics class) In 3rd period we watched more footage. I procrastinated, so I needed to take my SATs soon. I was trying to fill out the form in class. Other people were telling me not to do it because all the planes were grounded and it would never make it to the place on time. This one guy in my class who was a conspiracy theorist said that America attacked itself. That guy was weird, and believed The Martix was real. He was a blowhard who had the answer for everything. I'm glad I don't see that guy anymore. I wonder why he was so popular? My French teacher didn't seem to care about it. At lunch I wasn't hungry, and I didn't feel like eating. I thought I should be nice to people. I was upset there wasn't a tv in my 6th period class. I asked the teacher what he thought about it, and how he'd rate it on a historical scale. I said I thought George W. was asking his dad for advice. Back then I use to confuse Gaddaffi with Bin Laden.

I wanted to watch Sailor Moon S on Kids' WB. I was sort of upset that I couldn't watch Sailor Moon. There was really nothing on, so I just watched old Saved by the Bell episodes. It was like the only thing on that wasn't coverage. It was the episode when Screech invents a pimple cream. I think I also watched some Sailor Moon videos.

Listening to the radio was strange. They were mostly playing Moby songs; like "Natural Blues". They said they weren't going to play songs like "Fuck Authority" by Pennywise. Loveline did a good job of covering it; like they did with Columbine.

Everything just felt dream-like.

Mundane Before the Terror

I saw an ABC news story looking back on September 10th 2001. It was about Michael Jackson's comeback concert. It was reported by Peter Jennings. Both of which are dead. We were concerned about what Gary Condit did or didn't do.

I was very happy that Sailor Moon was on Kids' WB. they were showing the Cloverway S series dub. The Cloverway Serena voice is so annoying. It was worse than the Dic voice.Drawn on September 4th 2001.

I used my best Sailor Moon stationary to write a letter to my dead friend who was alive at the time. She said her stationary was more conservative. I had bought the stationary many years ago. (I think in 8th grade) My dad convinced me to buy it at a Hot Topic store.

I should watch the old video I made recording the episodes for nostalgic purposes.

The episodes they showed were:
Crystal Clear Again
Damp Spirits
Hello Sailor Mini Moon
People Who Need People
Related by Destiny
Art Appreciation
Mimet's Mess

I was engrossed my first week of my senior year of high school. With people and their crazy hair styles. Liking and disliking who I had classes with. Struggling with math from the beginning. A computer class I didn't sign up for that my friend had, and we would joke around in. My frustration with ceramics class, and working with clay. I like to draw. People who recognized me, and I thought they didn't. I felt like the chansey in the Pokemon episode "Ignorance is Blissey". Feeling shy in my English class even though my friend was in the class.

I remember Blink-182 had a concert scheduled for the next day.

Nerding Out Some More!

I bought a Sailor Moon scout guide book with some left over money I had. I remember reading the book in a mall about 10 years ago. I thought it was funny that Sailor Moon and I have the same blood type; O. After I received it my dad wanted to "inspect" the book. He did this before when I bought school books online. He got mad because I paid $8 for a beat up book. It was the only one in my price range. It’s not too beat up. For that price to me it was a deal. Those books are rare anyway and really over priced. I already showed it to him once why does he need to "inspect" it again?

I already nerded out for the Mercury and Venus guides.

Ungrateful Wretch

I'm an ungrateful wretch because I'm not appreciating Nickelodeon's version of the Winx Club. All the voices were changed. Well at least they are calling "Layla" "Aisha" again. I haven't heard the voices yet...

It made me think about when Cloverway took over dubbing for Sailor Moon. At least they kept some of the VAs like Jupiter and Mars. Their voice for Rini was way better than the Dic one. The Dic Rini voice sounded really weird, so weird I could impersonate it. The person who voiced Cloverway Rini went on to voice Kara in Di-Gata Defenders

The one thing I really hope even if the voice actors are different is that there will be more dolls released in the US. The same size and maker. 10 inch Mattel dolls, so I can buy more clothes for my Stella doll.

Angel's Friends

I don't know much about this show. I can't find a lot of info about it in English on the web. I was very curious to see this show since I heard it was like the Winx Club. The shows do have a lot in common. They are both Italian productions, the English dub I saw has some of the 4Kids voice actors, the characters have a similar look to them. Raf has Bloom's voice and Cabiria has Musa's voice. Liza Ortiz's voice is very identifiable. I think I might have heard Veronica Taylor and Dan Green in there too. I'm not sure who dubbed this. I can't find any info on the company or the voice actors.

I've only seen 1 episode, and read what little I can find about this show on the web. I sort of understand the plot. It's about angels and devils who help people out. When the angel and the devil get into an argument they challenge each other to something like horse riding. The characters can also disguise themselves like Sailor Moon does with the Luna Pen. They also have a henshin/transformation when they change into their outfits. The angels wear outfits that are sparkly. There are 2 schools an angel and devil school. Which reminded me of the 3 schools in the Winx Club (I'm using the 4Kids names) Alfea, Cloud Tower, and Red Fountain. I'm not including Beta since it was only mentioned and never shown on the series. Or at least the episodes I saw.

Here is the Italian language wikipedia entry for the show. Here is an English page about the show.

There is a problem with the show. It wasn't dubbed very well. I noticed the characters' mouths still moving when they are not speaking. It airs too early where I live. That is more of an affiliate problem.

miscellaneous blog #33

No lazy memoir today.

I have such a hard time shopping. My mom and my shopping styles clash. She is a driver and I'm an expressive. Except when I'm buying electronics; I'm an analytical. I've been sold too many bad electronics. I need to buy some supplies for my Halloween costume. It's already July, and I need supplies. Well the supplies I can get now. I think I might have to pick up a white turtle neck in a few months.

I'm going to post this question on the blog. If you something broke (like a cell phone or such something replaceable) and you didn't have the money at the moment to replace it. Would you "beg, borrow or steal"? to get another one?

I bought some of these gummi raspberries at the mall. I didn't like them.

Have you seen clips of this show Photon? It's freaky. I don't remember this show since it came out in 1986. It looks pretty cheesey. There is not much I can find about the series on the internet. Matt did review it on X-E a while ago. Which makes me wonder what the live action American version of Sailor Moon would have been like? I was thinking about that Sailor Moon episode "VR Madness" (I'm using the dub title). Which make me think about an idea I had a few years ago for a haunted VR/laser tag arcade. Ok, I got the idea from watching that Sailor Moon episode.

Didn't George Stenibrenner find a fitting day to pass away on? The MLB All Star Game, and a year an American League team is hosting. I thought about how he was portrayed on Seinfeld and voiced by Larry David. I was gonna use a quote from "The Jimmy" episode, but it was too long. Here is a quote from "The Muffin Tops" "How do you make that alcoholic chicken?".

I actually watched part of the game. I really wasn't planning to. I only wanted to see Amber Riley/Mercedes from Glee sing the national anthem. Too bad Gwen didn't do it. She is an Anaheim native. After all these years the National League team won an All Star Game. They hadn't won since 1996! I was 12 back then.

Driven

It's strange that my dad was more interested in getting a slurpee than me. Last year he thought I was lying. Honestly I forgot. I had to "see" the cup since my dad is so attention starved. He was complaining about how small it is. I know its small. Duh! It's 7.11 oz.

I think I know why Rachel from Glee is one of my favorite characters. She reminds me of myself when I was in high school. I was very determined and goal oriented back then. I did not want to be a singer. I know I'm a horrible singer, and have for many years.

Maybe my hurdles in driving are in my head and only in my head, don't talk about it. Why I can't be brave like the time I decided to finally get my ears pierced at 16. Too old?! I know. After I got my ears pierced I threw out almost all my old clip-ons. I didn't need them. I think I gave them to my mom. Having to wear clip-ons was so embarrassing.

I think if I get humiliated enough I can get motivated to do something. Prime cult property, or maybe even some other group where people need to be initiated.

Here are some reasons/excuses why I didn't want to drive. I did not want to get stuck running errands. I think/thought my dad was trying to trick me. The humiliation of not knowing how to drive, and the winters of waiting in the rain gave me some incentive.

I have a hard time distinguishing impudence from living in the moment.

Who knows? I might even like driving. I could be like Haruka/Amara. She loves driving. She is one of my favorite characters, but Usagi/Serena is still my favorite.

It's Not Festivus

After I started writing my rough draft about reflecting on the class. I realized what I wrote wasn't very reflective. It sounded more like the Airing of Grievances from Festivus. You know how many words I've typed up for this assignment? Three. Three! One of the words is the title! @o@

Maybe I sound like Sue Sylvester. There were a lot of people in the class I didn't like/found annoying. I don't discriminate. That's how I "C" it. I really need my own segment on the news. :P

To quote Serena from the Dic Sailor Moon dub episode "Talk Radio". "Alright! Let's get it out!"

Stick it to Me

So I was out at the local dollar store and they had these old style stickers. I had to buy a sheet. Although back in the 80s the sheets of stickers were larger. But they are exactly the same designs/pictures. Back in the 80s I use to get my stickers at a Sanrio store named Casper. It was in San Gabriel, but I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore. I got my first backpack there too. I miss when the different Sanrio stores had unique names like the one in Montebello was named Pinocchio. There was another store named Rainbow Gate, but as a kid I would call it Rainbow Bridge. I would go to the mall and ask where the Rainbow Bridge store was, and get some strange looks. Rainbow Bridge is the name of a Jimi Hendrix film.
I know I have some other ones I bought back in the 90s that I put in an album. If I find those I'll scan them too.
There were also these Sailor Moon stickers for sale. I had to buy them because they were Sailor Moon and even if one sticker was missing. It had to be of Moon.
Here are some other throwback stickers I got at the Target a few months ago. Mello Smello. I had some root beer ones, cherry ice cream ones, fudge sundae ones and lifesavers ones. I also have a knockoff one I got in 3rd grade that has a picture of Garfield standing next to a pizza slice that was pizza scented. It smelled really spicy. If I find the Garfield one I'll scan it too.

Where's my Bow?

Strange title huh? It has to do with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The bow in the title refers to a bow like a bow and arrow. So I decided to watch the rebroadcasts of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on ABC Kids. I thought it would be a fun little nostalgic tip back to 1993. Wow! It's been that long? The funny thing is that back when it premiered I almost didn't see it because my mom was at the dentist. Actually the dentist and Power Rangers had a lot of conflicts in my life.

The first time I saw the show I wasn't really into it. I mean I didn't hate it, but I wasn't in love with it...yet.
I didn't really get into the show until I saw the episode "Foul Play in the Sky". That was the episode that got me hooked, and turned me into a Kimberly fan at the same time. "Foul Play in the Sky" is my favorite Power Rangers episode ever. Why is Kimberly my favorite character? I liked her because she was fashionable, a gymnast, and a brunette too. I don't know I didn't like Trini as much as Kimberly. I liked Zack more than Trini. When I was in 4th grade most of the girls who did admit to liking Power Rangers liked Trini.
When I was a kid I was a little too into Power Rangers. Even though I was in the target audience when it started I was 9 when it came out. It was uncool for a 4th grader to like it. It was considered "kids' stuff". I still think there were some closet fans in my 4th grade class. Back then I pretty much spent all my allowance on Power Rangers merchandise. I use to save up like $10 to buy the videos. Back then Power Rangers merchandise was so hard to find because it was so popular. When it was Christmas in 1993 I didn't get any Power Ranger toys. :( I got inline skates and a toy bow and arrow. I wanted to bow and arrow, so I could play Power Rangers. I remember how excited I was to find the videos on sale at the mall. The cashier was making fun of me. Yeah, I was nerding out for videos. I was such a nerd back then; like I am now. Some things never change right? The reason was because my grandpa had set up our VCR wrong and it would play videos, but not record off the tv. When we finally set up the VCR correctly when we moved in 1994. It was dying and eating tapes.

I mean back then Power Rangers knockoff shows were so prevalent back then I got sick of them. Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad was pretty funny.
I liked that show it was funny and campy. It only ran for one season. Actually Power Rangers was the reason I got into Sailor Moon. I was reluctant to watch it because I thought it was "just another Power Rangers knockoff show". Well Sailor Moon is sort of like a sentai mixed with magical girl.

A few years ago I started writing a fan fic that I never finished. It was a crossover between the Winx Club and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Kimberly and Stella get into an argument. Maybe if I find it and finish it I'll post it here or something. (it's not written in prose)
Here's a link to a drawing based on the fan fic I started writing.

When I saw the rebroadcasts they were horrible! Not because of the lameness, and how dated the show looks now. No, I liked that part. That was the fun part. It got defaced. First off they changed the opening theme. They cut out the part where they would show them unmorphed doing something. They cut out the part of Zack hip hop dancing! Ugh! They also changed the logo. Also there were also these scenes where there would be these strange colorful inserted backgrounds. It was like I was looking at an obnoxious myspace page layout or something. Why did have to label everything? Also it was like watching the 60s version of Batman with Adam West in it or something? When they were fighting the Putties words like "Kick!" and "Pow!" would appear. They took something that was pretty cheesy in it's own right and made it cheesier in a bad way. Why did they advertise it as "all new"!? New? When? In 1993?

I noticed all the cuts too. Since they showed "Day of the Dumpster" and "High Five" which I have on video. I use to watch those so many times it's like those episodes are inscribed in my brain even though I haven't watched them in years.

I hate to think how they'll deface 2 of my favorite episodes "Power Ranger Punks" and "Foul Play in the Sky". Maybe in the part when Kimberly and Billy become punks the word "Punx" will appear on the screen in some obnoxious font, and maybe some skulls or something.

Ginger Love

I never really realized that I have a thing for redheads too. I know I do for blonds due to the successful brainwashing by my grandma. Of course she hates any hair color that is not blond. I remember how mad she was when some of my cousins dyed their blond hair red because that was the trend back then. This was back in like the mid to late 90s when red hair was really trendy.

To be honest I think it started with Ariel and Holly.

Here is a list I’ve complied of my favorite redheads. Some are real people and some are fictional characters. If you don’t like or disagree with my list then make your own.

Sassette
Ariel
Miss BG
Conan O’Brien
Shirley Manson
Pepper Ann
Holly Hallstrom (my favorite Price is Right model)
Gadget (is she a redhead? I thought she was a blond)
Gosylan
Elmyra
The Undertaker
Alfred E. Newman
Annie

The one thing I always wondered is why was there not a red haired Sailor in Sailor Moon. I’m not including the Amazoness Quartet. I mean the main ones. I remember making a fan character called “Sailor Sun” who is a redhead.

I was also going to include Ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew Mew (aka Zoey from Mew Mew Power), but her hair is only red when she is not a Mew. When she is a Mew it’s pink.

Slutty and Non-slutty Costumes

This is another blog Halloween costumes. But this one isn’t only about sexy/slutty costumes. I‘ll talk about slutty and non-slutty costumes.
This is a slutty Sailor Moon costume I found. It’s ok I guess. The Sailor Soldiers/Senshi (Scouts) wear some pretty sexy outfits. If I recall this costume is called Sailor Sweetie. A lot of people who dress up as Sailor Moon character get accused for making the costume look “trashy” or “slutty” because they wear “stripper boots” with the dress. Of course it wouldn’t matter with this costume since you want to look like that. Read #13 on this site.
I think this costume would’ve looked cuter if it had shorter sleeves or was sleeveless and the model was wearing long white gloves. I think the costume comes with the hair ribbons. I don’t know why, but for some reason I think the costume model kind of looks like Christina Aguilera.
Here is another Strawberry Shortcake knockoff costume. This one is really ugly. I found this picture while I was searching for pictures of slutty Rainbow Brite costumes. I think this costume is pretty ugly. That fruit on the apron looks like a blackberry, and what’s with the pink fabric and white dots?
Here are 2 slutty nostalgic designs I made. They are for a Moondreamer (Crystal Starr) and for Lady Lovelylocks.
Speaking of costumes what am I going to dress as? I don’t know…yet. I’ve narrowed it down to 3 choices; a witch, a ghost or the Twitter Bird. I think it would be fun to be the Twitter bird. I’d make that costume out cardboard or something.
I’m thinking about trying Horror Flesh makeup. I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time. Has anybody else used it? Is it good? Does it make you face itchy? You know like when you slather on too much of that cheap water based cream makeup, and it cracks all over your face and makes it itchy.

I even bought some more costume supplies. You know a lot of people don’t really think about this, but you can find a lot of costume supplies during the transition from summer to fall. Here are some summer items you can use. Beach balls you can papier-mâché them and make character heads. Especially ones for round headed characters. Swim noodles are great for making costumes. Here are some costumes using swim noodles. Bead bag, flip flop, and a crab trap. Swim goggles are really useful especially if you are going to dress as a swimmer or a superhero or something like that.
I picked up some blue swim goggles since they reminded me of Gadget’s goggles. Especially since they were blue. Maybe I can even use them for a cybergoth/cyberpunk costume I just need some dreads. Maybe with some blue in them. If I can find another pair in pink I might buy those.

When I first saw these I thought they were stupid. But after I thought about it. Something came to me “Lettuce hair!” Especially this green color. I mean using it as a flat headband Since the hair is cheap and tangles easily. It would be easy if I braided it because it wouldn’t tangle as much. Plus Lettuce’s hair is hard to achieve. I could use it for a Lettuce costume and just dye my hair green. I braided it, but it is not finished since I need to add bows to the bottom in true Lettuce fashion. For all you Mew Mew Power fans Lettuce’s dub name is Bridget.
I also found this small crow. I like it. I think I’m going to name it. But I haven’t come up with a name yet. I was thinking “Blackie”. Or is that too racist? If you have any name suggestions please send them to my blog. I like the way this picture came out. Especially the lighting. It makes it looks ominous.

I Need Some Cred

This is a joke blog.

Ok how can I get some cred here?

What is the snobbiest No Doubt and Garbage album to listen to? Is it “Beautifulgarbage” and “No Doubt”? I don’t mean among the No Doubt and Garbage fans I mean among the music snobs/elitists.

I’m not a “real” fan right? Because I like the “popular” albums. My favorites are “Tragic Kingdom” and “Garbage”. The only reason I like those 2 albums is because I fell in love with them in junior high and they bring back nostalgic memories. What an awkward little 7th grader I was. I also use to listen to “Jagged Little Pill” a lot back then too. That album is probably frowned upon too. Just to point out do own both of their complete discography of No Doubt and Garbage; all 7 of No Doubt’s albums and all 5 of Garbage’s albums. Although I think 2 other “popular” albums are “Rock Steady” and “Version 2.0”.

Which made me think what songs are the fan favorites among fans and non fans? “Only Happy When it Rains” and “Don‘t Speak”?

What is the “purest” way to listen to a No Doubt or Garbage album? Maybe you are suppose to listen to a Garbage album while drinking a Gin Daisy? No wait I got it! You listen to “Sex is not the Enemy” while jumping on the bed. For No Doubt let’s see… you listen to “The Beacon Street Collection” while cruising the streets of Anaheim driving past the Beacon Street house. I guess you would listen to “Sunday Morning” while eating spaghetti. Oh wait! We didn’t even get into formats. Which situation calls for which format? CD? Cassette? Vinyl? Digital file? I’m pretty sure they don’t have any releases on 8 Track.

You can’t be a “bad” fan either. You need to get the song titles right. What could be worse than meeting a musician and telling them you love some song they perform, but you call it by the wrong title. Would they end up telling you something like this “How dare you call yourself a fan! Get the song title right! Get away from me! You don‘t deserve to be my fan anymore!”

But I think Shirley Manson doesn’t think this way. She would not have written something like this ”A big hand of love to everyone who has ever gone crazy for one of our tracks, laughed and screamed and cried at one of our shows, stuck us on an homemade compilation, written us a letter, called themselves a Garbage fan or even acted like one. To you and to all my, family bandmates and friends, Peace x.”.

Should I even be listening to them at all? They are too mainstream. I should be listening to some obscure female fronted band nobody has ever heard of. Golly…I need to do some research and a lot of studying. :x

I’ll just take 2 of my mom’s albums: “On the Beach” by Neil Young and “Blonde on Blonde” by Bob Dylan. Think my mom is a music snob? Nah. She just likes these artists.

I know how to bump up my cred! I’ve been listening to Blondie since I was 8! Wait there is no way to prove that unless you knew me at 8. Oh well… *shrugs*

I also need some cred in the anime department too.

My favorite anime series is Sailor Moon! @o@ *faints* Yeah I know I’ve mentioned that before; numerous times.

I shouldn’t be allowed to be an anime fan or even watch any series with some “depth” to them. I guess I’ll be relegated to watching stuff like Dragonball and Pokemon. Poor me!

Actually I think of those series as “gateway anime” you know like “gateway drugs”. Some people are like the occasional drinker/smoker. They watch a little bit of anime sometimes when they are in the mood to. Then there would be somebody like your chain smoker/alcoholic who pretty much only likes one series/genres and only watches that. There would also be the people how get into harder drugs or in this case more obscure anime. One person thinks Eureka Seven is like Ecstasy. Which is funny since I really like that series and I’m rewatching it.

I even heard about some guy who was going to raise his kids on Ojamajo Doremi aka Magical Doremi for you dubbies out there. (I‘m assuming subs of this series or even possibly the raw Japanese version) I just have one question. What if they don’t like it? I mean like when you parent(s) want you to be in Little League and you hate baseball.

How dare I call myself a fan of anything because I don’t like the obscure. I guess I’m too uncool for my own good. Which is better than thinking I’m cool and better than everyone else.

Are you a Fan?

Why do fans snub other fans? I’m talking about fans of the same thing within a fan community? It seems really silly although there are jerky fans in any community. I’m not going to single out particular groups, but I have dealt with some pretty jerky fans. These are all groups I associate myself with. I’m not going to make fun of groups I don’t belong to like say Jonas Brothers fans.

The Winx club fans can be jerky sometimes. I remember this one time I got chewed out on a Winx Club message board because I misspelled “enchantix” as “enchantrix”. I make a note now on message boards stating that I am a native speaker of English, but a bad speller. I also hate it when the fans insist you use the original Italian names. I know some of them like Layla is Aisha. So if they use that one I won’t get confused. I totally forget the names of the schools though.

OMG! I talked to one of the silliest Sailor Moon fans online. She got mad because the Skye Sweetnam (what happened to her?) song “Hypocrite” mentions Sailor Moon. In my personal opinion I think the song is taking about not calling Skye a hypocrite. I’m not really sure I have not listened to the song.

LOLZ! Like Don’t totally say that!
Category: Web, HTML, Tech
I read this little complaint on a message board
Title:"I'm Am Soo Mad! Sailor Moon Fans Please Come Here
I know it may be petty but i found out someone tried to bash sailor moon in a song!!!!!It's old though. here is the part:[it's by Skye sweetnam]
Bubble gum brainiac
Baby girl, ultra brat
Angst Schmangst
No thanks
Hope my record doesnt tank
Sailor moon, Rainbow brite
Anime,Avril lite
Pro tools all the way
Hey,hey,hey,hey
chorus:
Dont try to label me hypocrite
Cause I will do what I want to
Some will say that I'm counterfeit
But I will be what I want to

I'm am beyond mad!!!!She shouldn't call sailor moon a hypocrite like that.she must not know the true meaning of sailor moon.Love and friendship.unlike her being a wanna be. Sailor moon isn't a hypocrite.she saves people with all her might.she would die to make someone else life ok.she had NOOO buieness saying that."
First off I don't know who is calling who petty here? Does it even matter? Of course not!
Omg I hope she doesn't ever hear One Week by the Barenaked Ladies. She'll Shit her pants.

This is the part of the song I’m referring to.

“Like Kurasawa I make mad films
'Kay I don't make films
But if I did they'd have a samurai
Gonna get a set of better clubs
Gotta find the kind with tiny nubs
just so my irons aren't always flying
off the back-swing
Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon
Cause that cartoon has got the boom anime babes
that make me think the wrong thing.”

Back when I took Japanese I wanted to hide the fact that I liked anime because I didn’t want other people in the class thinking I was in there just because of anime. I don’t want to say it was one of the many reasons I wanted to learn Japanese. Like I’ve stated before those are the kind of people that get made fun of in your class by the other students especially if you don’t stop talking about anime. This type of student is mentioned in this article. Within the second week Sailor Moon was mentioned. It was just a matter of time before the series was. I use to hide my Sailor Moon fandom in my Japanese class. Which was so hard to do. It killed me.

There was also this annoying otaku girl. She was always boasting about her knowledge of anime, Japan, and the Japanese language. I felt she was very immature. I just want to tell her I’m sorry for snubbing you. That was wrong on my part. I took some bad advice.

*Hiragana is a form of Japanese writing. It is one of the three writing systems used in the Japanese language.

”We were learning some English loan words. Those are pretty easy. I'm still having trouble reading and writing Hiragana. Those 2 otakus got into a discussion about anime again when we learned the word "inu" which means dog and this girl brought the subject of Inuyasha. Which lead into a full blown anime discussion. Then some other people were naming other animes and the otaku girl was snobbing the most of the animes named. She said Digimon is crap. Now I wouldn't say it's crap, but it isn't that good. But I don't snub animes. Hey if you like Digimon, great. Cause I know there haters out there for every anime ever made. Dragonball haters, Pokemon haters, Inuyasha haters, Voltron haters, Sailor Moon haters, One Piece haters, Naruto haters, and so on. So this one girl says that Sailor Moon is the girls' version of Dragonball. So the otaku girl who was sitting behind me was saying that Sailor Moon is more "dark and twisted" than Dragonball. I really don't know I'm not a Dragonball fan. I've seen a few Z episodes, but that's about it. Those 2 girls were really getting into that discussion and talking over the teacher. They were really getting into the Sailor Moon discussion talking about the "cousins" and what they really are, the difference between Chibi Chibi and Rini/Chibiusa and other elements from the series. She was saying about how the manga is better than the anime, and I agree. She says she likes the Stars season/saga. I'm familiar with Stars. I mean I know the plot, but I've never seen it or read the manga. When it was break time so they left the room to carry on the discussion. Since I wasn't in on the discussion I didn't leave the room, plus I was still working on my Hiragana and I needed help from the teacher. When they came back the girl said she is not an otaku because they are way more into anime and manga than her, and if she not then I must be otaku extra lite. Then they said not to say anything bad in front of a Sailor Moon fan girl which they totally were, but didn't know, and I didn't want them to. Plus they were acting like all the fan girls would get pissed if they talked ill of Sailor Moon. Just for the record we are all not like that.”

I know a lot of fans of other wrestlers HATE John Cena fans. But I’m only going to talk about the Cena fans interacting with the other Cena fans. I’ll admit some Cena fans can be annoying. They write very inane things about Cena on the internet and usually only like him for his “hotness”. They usually claim he is the best wrestler ever. I want to say that I like Cena as much as the next person (who likes him), but I don’t like him based on his “hotness” or his “superior wrestling ability”. I like him because he is funny, passionate about his job, has good mic skills, and is good to his fans. They usually have silly Cena-centric user names like “future Mrs. Cena”, “Cena‘s wifey” or “Alice Cena”. They just make Cena their last name. This kind of user name is common I see it with many other celebrities last names.

I wasn’t planning on writing about these fans, but since Drew Carey addressed them in his blog and what they were writing about and to him I thought they deserved a little nod. I want to say that I have been to quote Bob here “A loyal friend and true” to the show since 1986. I’m not here to out fan any other Price fan. There are many fans of all ages who have been watching for different intervals of time. I just want to say that I belong to that site that Drew mentions. I don’t go on there or post there much, and when I do I mostly express my love for Holly (former Barker‘s Beauty who was fired in 1995 for gaining too much weight) and the retired game Superball. I feel my knowledge of Price is not very extensive. I do recommend going to that site if you want to see screenshots of old shows and to see/remember what old props, sets, and games looked like. I don’t know what happened between Drew and that site I remember they organized a fan chat together.
