Too Advanced

After watching Wrestlemania, and seeing Snooki I had a strange dream about Guidos and tanning.

I went shopping and manged to find a great Glee Rachel diary for $1 and I couldn't pass it up. I can use it to write about my aspirations and my crushes. J/K :P

I found some nostalgic glitter hair clips (90s style), but I decided to save my money and not buy them. I was just going to use them for reference anyway.

Why did the WWE announce a Wrestlemaia match about 1 year in advance? Rock and Cena could be good could be bad provided they end up wrestling each other and there are no problems like injuries. I really wanted to see Cena wrestle The Undertaker for Wrestlemania 28 provided Taker is healthy enough to do it. When was the last time they wrestled a 1 on 1 match at a PPV 2003? I remember Cena cutting a promo while he peed on a grave. This was back when he was a rapper heel.

The Lamest of Lame

Why is my dad suddenly taking an interest in what I like? He wants me to go with him to a comic book festival later in the month. I'm perplexed and I sense something fishy. He hates comic books they are "nerdy" to him.

I have some gripes with the KROQ Labor Day-to-Z countdown this year. "Q" was missing. Why not play "Queer"? That is the lamest of lame not to play that song.

I'm happy to say this year I'm not throwing a lame yard sale. They were just so disastrous.

I'm thinking about watching the new John Cena movie. But I only will if it is at a theater near me and if it is at one I can use my gift card at. Otherwise I won't see it.

I've got to keep Myself Together

Sorry about being late with the blogs. I've been a little behind.

Happy Chinese Valentines Day! I think I will start celebrating this holiday instead of the western one. I hate the western one! Street vendors, teddy bears, cheap candy, flowers and balloons. The Chinese holiday focuses on making art.

Did you hear about what college freshman don't know about? I'm not mad or anything. A lot of older people are mad at people around my age who don't really remember the Cold War, Twana Brawley, the Challenger crash or the Gulf War (1991). If these kids were born circa 1992 there is not much I remember back then from world events. I was 7. The thing about not knowing how to write in cursive. I've heard that some people that are my age or close to it find writing in cursive irrelevant. I remember the cursive debate was brought up on a local news show years ago which John Cena happened to be the guest on (yes, he can write in cursive). I should know I saw him sign autographs in cursive, and he wrote a message in cursive on the program. He wrote "Today is Friday the 13th!". Look I found my respective list. I disagree with a lot of that. Who did they talk to? Certainly not me! I've never grown up "normal" or had the luxuries most people my age grew up with.

My dad's been really cranky and in criticize mode. I just wanna be invisible for the rest of the month and then get invisible for October. I still think my dad is trying to trick me. I might sound paranoid about this, but it's complicated. I've been so distracted this month I haven't even prepared a birthday message for Shirley on her facebook. I'd better get to writing one. I think this year I'll go with simple. Last year I wrote her a long message. It was like a paragraph.

My dad still doesn't get it about enhanced CDs. It would be more of a bother just trying to explain it to him. I said it might not be compatible or the website is gone. He thinks it has something to do with (disk) burners. He went back to get more tech support, and he was told that the website doesn't exist! LOL! XD

Miscellaneous blog #35

I was still confused about the voices from the English dub for Angel's Friends so I sent an email to Veronica Taylor (She was the voice of Ash in the 4kids English Pokèmon dub) . She has an official page. I hope she replies, but I'm not holding my breath.

How crazy is the marketing for the movie Eat, Pray, Love? Like all the "inspired" jewelry. There is other stuff being sold like authentic items from Italy, India and Bali. If I were to reenact any scene from the movie/book it would be the part when Wayan receives the money, and I'm playing the part of Wayan. Or the petition scene.

Caught the Teen Choice Awards yesterday and felt really old. I was only watching for Cena's appearance. Cena doesn't look too bad in a suit. I'm so use to seeing him in jean shorts. I got to see Cory. I still wonder how long Fox will milk Glee? I give them about 3 more years. (Gleeks don't be mad at me I like this show as much as the next Gleek.) It makes me realize how out of touch I am with pop culture.

Since I've been stressed out this month I've been having really crazy dreams including one with a talking lab dog who bought saladitos.

Experience Required

Here are some things I forgot to mention in my last blog.

Before class I listened to "Run Baby Run". I thought it would be rather fitting since it was the song I listened to right before my first day of that class. The funny thing about “Run Baby Run” is that I can’t remember if I purposely listened to that song before my first day of class, or it was the next in the queue. I just want to say something else about it. I would pay good money for an official physical release of that video.

I know some people think I'm crazy because I'm worried about what other people think about me. I just want to say that if I didn't I'd end up doing a lot of crazy/bad things. Doesn't everybody lie about their life to make it sound better?

The funny thing is that a few people in the class wanted to write about relatives they didn’t really know. That just sounds shady. I wouldn’t write about my great grandma. She died in the 70s. I never met her. So excuse me if my writing sounds self centered, but I only want to write about myself. I know that person so well. Of course my family members will appear in the stories and stuff. Why would I write about somebody else? I'm not in their head. Everybody has a different point of view. My cousin and I can be at the same party and feel totally different about it.

Here is something that bothered me about my class. Some people had so much blind faith in that popular guy. They just blindly followed this guy, and put him on a pedestal. They would be prime cult property. Funny, I always thought I was, and I believe in blind faith. Hell, I'm a Cena fan. That is blind faith right there.

There was another person who didn't show up. I found out they are a Conan fan. I really wanted to write them a message that had the phrase "Go Team Coco!" in it.

When I received my book I realized that there is so much to read in there I should take it for jury duty. Maybe I should just bring my Tokyo Mew Mew manga instead.

You know like everybody wants job experience. You even need experience to bus tables. DAMN!

I went to the Hometown Buffet and you know what!? They didn't have fries! They always have fries. Potato wedges are not fries. I sound like the grandma from the show Maybe it's Me. She said "Coleslaw is not a potato."

I’m not taking educational advice from my dad ever again!

That is all.

The Presentation was Over I survived

Let's talk about celebrity deaths Jose Lima died recently. I thought I'd post about him since I know who he was. He was a baseball player, and played for the Dodgers for a while. Also Brittany Murphy's husband died. I'm just gonna mention him cause he was famous.

Ok now let's move onto something else. My sales presentation was today. I was nervous all morning.

This blog is going to reference older blogs. I had written about the bad WWE report I gave. Here is the old blog in the archives about it.

I was dressed like a banker. :P I had to dress nice. I really wanted to wear a Tootsie Roll shirt. That was the candy I was selling. I was wearing the same outfit I wore to the Ferguson taping. I thought I looked sort of professional. It bothered me that I had no pockets, so I had to use my purse. I hate using a backpack and a purse. There is too much bulkiness. After all these years of not using a backpack and purse together using them just feels strange to me. I just kept flicking it.

In class the teacher said my work improved. I was sort of relived and nervous that I was going second to last. I was in class preparing all my stuff. When it was my turn I had to talk about Tootsie Rolls, and eat one in front of the class. It was hard for me to talk of course and everybody was laughing. I gave samples. So did somebody else who presented bottled water. Too bad there weren't any free iphone or macbook samples. :( LOL! @-@ I told the class I give Tootsie Rolls for Halloween and they laughed. I think I did well. Not like an A presentation; maybe a B. But I was more confident than when I gave my WWE presentation.

Also I posted the blog about the bad poem I wrote about John Cena in the archives. I made a reference to it previously in this blog.

They Swing like Pendulums

I had this really strange dream about Shirley and pandas. :/

So I have a project for my sales class, and my mom was wondering why I didn't mention it until today. It's only because I didn't want my dad grossly misinterpreting the assignment. I'm hoping he'll be more preoccupied with his own school work, but I never know.

When I get to school and I'm crossing the street with other bus riders I don't know if they weren't paying attention or what. They almost crossed in front of a fire truck with the sirens blaring. Whoa! We need some type of safety patrol here or something! Where are Slim Goodbody or McGruff when you need them? It reminds me of something that happened at my old school when they were doing construction. People would go through the site. They would ignore the barriers and tape. Stupid!

When I get to my building I see some kids with a tall dinosaur pinata. It had to be at least 3 feet tall, and Rock Band instruments. I wonder what they were going to do with those? I had to break my "no tweeting" rule since I thought it was such a strange and funny sight. I just didn't want to waste my battery.

Today I don't know what was with me, but I was feelin' really prolific. :P

I find out that the due date for my story has been moved up, and it's due next Tuesday. I'm upset because I thought I had time to work on another story. I'm trying not to, but still over thinking about how "childish" my writing seems. Then I thought if I overwork the story it will be bad. I just said "Fuck that!" I'm satisfied with what I turning in, and if other people aren't that's their problem. I put all my heart into that story; worked hard on it. This is no half assed thing. [mark] I was thinking about this tweet I read from John Cena yesterday.
"Well, live by the sword, die by the sword. I just don't want anyone took look back at any moment and say I didn't give my all." [/mark]

Speaking of Cena in my current writing class we have to do some assignment with a picture we choose ourselves. I think it might be similar to an assignment I had to do in my old writing class. I chose that sneaky picture I took of Cena back in 2005. I had to write a poem about the picture. It was really crappy poem. My former creative writing teacher was too focused on poetry.

People in class were changing seats, so I sat in my usual area, and decided that since I was sitting next to different people I was going to be on my best behavior. I hoped they didn't notice I was taking notes on them. I had to do it on the sly. I get a wealth of material from my blog in that class.

I was also thinking about if I worked for Conan, and I drew this silly doodle.
The popular guy usually sets the tone for the class session. It was strange not having him share a story. He is usually the first one to jump at the chance, and I'll graciously surrender.

Somebody mentioned the Smothers Brothers in class and I feel old cause I know who they are. It made me think about yoyos.

Somebody was talking about this book that was written by that other guest who was at the Ferguson taping. The guest who replaced Wayne Newton. That is the only reason I'm familiar with the book's topic. But I was too busy thinking about Shirley. All I can think about is Shirley talking about pendulous breasts. So I'm sitting in class giggling and smiling to myself like an idiot!

Publicity

I've been working on stirring up publicity for something, and it's a daunting task. Actually I wrote some long winded blog about it. All I'm going to say is that this idea came to me last week while I was listening to Garbage songs on the bus. I think it was Tuesday or Wednesday. That blog I started writing about that was not fit for consumption anyway. It went off in some other rambling direction. Actually I think my sales teacher might be able to help me, but I'm not sure. We'll see what happens this week.

Had a test today. I wasn't feeling confident I think I got -11 on it. I'm hoping for less than that though. I think -11 would be a B.

I got a lot of stuff to say that I didn't put in a miscellaneous/leftovers blog last week. I was too busy writing about moms and stickers. :P

Happy to see John Cena on twitter. Let the hate tweets begin! Hope this doesn't get messy like his old myspace page.

Name a Birthday

Let's see... I'd like to wish John Cena a happy 33rd birthday!

You know what stupid thing my dad told me this week? He thought the city buses have a bathroom in them. X-X WTH?

I think I might be shrinking, but it doesn't bother me. I want to be short.

I know I mentioned this in the last entry, but is this like a name dropping blog? Just wondering... I've been kicking that thought around in my head for most of the week now.

I'm in the mood for crafting. I'm thinking of making something girly. Like with a lot of pinks and stuff.

Free Day!

It's been a while since I had one. Not since last year. Ok ok lame joke right? I haven't had one since September. Not since my parents went to my grandma's house to get that junky Buick that belonged to my dad's dead uncle. Seriously I could write a long ranting blog about how junky that car is. But this is not the blog for that.

Since today is a free day I get a little excited because I don't know where to start or what to do. There are so many things. None of which involve chores or cleaning. I figure it's my time to "be lazy". I like being alone and having a house to myself. I like being alone; maybe that's an only child thing. It's fun to be a bachelorette for like a day.

Here are some of the things I did: sang "Why Do You Love Me" aloud, ate sweets for breakfast, decoupaged, watched Absolute Garbage, drank sweet strong tea, ate cheese, wrote in my diary, and trimmed my nails.

I invented a new sandwich a few days ago. It's a toasted cheese sandwich. Here's what you use. First you need some cheese spread. I used port wine flavor because that's what we had. First you toast the bread. Just used was what around, so I used plain white bread. Then I used the cheese spread instead of butter, margarine or cream cheese, and put the 2 pieces together. Maybe I should try one with aresol cheese.

I was thinking about working on my Halloween costume. It's never too early to plan, but then I thought I should start planning after my birthday. Perhaps if I start in January I will actually finish a costume. Something that I didn't hastily put together in 3 days.

I decided that I'd spurge in February and buy my self a little present. I do have something in mind. It's a secret until I buy it. ;)

For some reason I can't find any pictures online of the Sanrio character Roberta. She is a bear character. I had a picture of her, but I lost it when the hard drive broke.

I wanted to see how long it would be before I used the banned word. The "t-word". I was trying to think of a replacement word. First thought I could use the word "chirp", but then I remembered that is what the Boost Mobile phones do. Especilaly when ham eating pigs use them. It took me 2 days. 2 days! Damn! >:(

Since my dad went to my grandma's (his mom) visiting. I've written about her before. She is the one who conditioned my
blond obsession. When he came back with the presents from her I was dreading what they were. She is notorious for giving bad gifts. This deserves it's own blog too. Well at least she didn't put her cat in a box a wrap it.

I was very disappointed by Cena's appearance at the Fiesta Bowl. I mean it was nice to see him and all. He got so little screen time. I was hoping they would interview him for the pregame show or something. I mean he has a football background. He could have even plugged Wrestlemania or something. He looked good though. He cleaned up well. He was dressed in a suit. I liked his tie. He looks so out of place in dressy clothes. I'm so use to seeing him in jean shorts and a t-shirt. I mean he's one of the few wrestlers who are exempt from the "suit rule"; The Undertaker is another one. The feed kept cutting off. My dad kept blaming it on Time Warner. I have no idea why; we get Fox OTA (over the air). He just has to complain about something he knows nothing about.

The funny thing was I had cheese at every meal. It was like that time I had bacon for every meal one day when we were in the process of moving.

Aside from the blog about the junky Buick and the blog about the horrible gifts my paternal grandmother gives. I have have material for a blog about those funnel cake sticks and a full review of that bear speaker pillow. Oh yeah and if you want to see some bad Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan art or read some bad fan fics that I did between the ages of 9 though 11. I'll post them here if you want me to. Just leave me a comment.

Genki

I'm feeling in better spirits than I was before. As the Japanese would say "Genki". It means to be in good spirits.

I've been thinking about my life again while I was on facebook. I was thinking what is a profitable career? I think the health care sector will dry up soon. I'll say within the next 5 years. What about working with loans? I'm going to stay in the woodwork for now and just write inane things to Shirley and take wacky quizzes and compare the results with my cousin's results.

Anyway I got my Sweet Toof purse and it was on sale! ^-^

I also bought some candy. Caramel apple pops. I've been looking for some for a while.

Here is something funny. John Cena's first movie The Marine is on sale for $5 that's less than I paid to see it in the theaters when it came out 3 years ago.

Gum Doesn’t Even Help

This is another blog about my reporter teacher. Disclaimer: All opinions expressed about this teacher are solely my own.

One time towards the end of the semester I had to muster up what little if any motivation to go to her class. I was growing increasing bored with each class. (Not that I wasn’t since the beginning) Before class I went to the library since I had time to waste before class. I got out my gum for class. When I get to class I see that she is not there, and the other students are waiting outside. I was mad because I had been chewing that gum for like 5 minutes. Everybody was scrambling to turn in their quizzes. I read on the board that there was a new issue of the school newspaper coming out on the next class session. I was planning to be absent on that day. She said there were 2 more issues left. She told the class she thinks Rupert Murdoch and Bill Gates are trying to take over the world.

While I was chewing gum in class I think she was getting mad at me, but I didn’t care. I was cool, calm, collected, and nonchalant. The gum sort of worked. I felt it did pass the time a little better. Maybe I should try Mentos. :P

She said her daughter is concerned with thinness. It comes from the parent and the issue of control. I learned that from Loveline. And seeing how she treats her class. I just wonder how she treats her kids and could drive them to this.

I did actually learn something relevant in class John Cena and Shakespeare have the same birthday; April 23. I thought that was an interesting little fact.

She asked me a question and I wasn’t really paying attention, and I think she could see that I just gave a blanket statement. Then she got side tracked anyway so I was saved.

Miscellaneous Blog #18

Last week I was looking for a John Cena Summerslam cup at 7-11. On Monday I went, and they didn’t have any. I ended up going to the McDonalds instead. I bought some $1 chicken Mc Nuggets. They make me think of Cena since he mentioned them on 5 Questions a long time ago. I wonder if he still eats them.

I went to 3 different 7-11’s on Tuesday. I found a lot of Edge cups. Edge fangirls where are you!? Apparently none of them live in my area. Perhaps people aren’t buying the Edge cups because he is injured? I noticed a few Undertaker cups as well. Maybe people aren’t buying the Undertaker ones because he’s hasn’t been on tv recently either? At the 3 stores I went to all of the Cena cups were gone. For him being so unpopular this still perplexes me. Maybe all the little kid Cena fans begged their parents to buy them Cena cups? Here is the ratio I saw from most to least Edge, Undertaker, Triple H, Kelly Kelly, Cena.

The 4th store I went to (the one I live nearby) They had a whole bunch of Cena cups. The cups are huge! I think they are like 40 oz. They are the Super Big Gulp size. I was happy that the local 7-11 sells Orange Bang. Too bad it’s not frothy. I was drinking that drink on and off all day, and I bought it at like 11 AM.

I tried some fake scallops. Well I didn’t know they were fake at first. The box was improperly labeled. The box said breaded scallops, but when I ate them they didn’t taste like scallops. They tasted like something else. They tried to hide the fact that they were fake by breading them. Until some of the breading fell off and the “scallop” inside was curly like a snail. When I read the back of the back of the packaging it said “Surimi”. After I unraveled the “scallops”, and ate them. I looked up what “Surimi” is. It’s fake fish meat. It’s also used in imitation crab meat or “krab”. I don’t feel too bad since I only paid $1 for them.

I also picked up some more Panda Noodles and a review blog will be up shortly.

I’m ready for a change. A big change; not just something like cutting my hair. A positive change. I don’t know if it will be bold or foolish. Or a little of both or neither. When I’m feeling riled up or emotional about something I do this. Remember that time I joined the anime club?

Deranged Reporter Teacher

Enough about celebrity deaths for now. unless somebody "shocking" dies. Someone who I consider shocking. These are celebrities whose death came to me in a dream. At the time of posting they are not dead. I only had 3; Regis Philbin, Paul Rubens AKA Pee Wee Herman, and Hardcore Bob Howard (he's a wrestler).

I'm going to talk about the death of something else; my aspiration to be a reporter.

Disclaimer: All opinions expressed about this teacher are solely my own.

Remember I mentioned her in a previous blog? Well I thought I’d give some background to being in her class and such since the last blog I wrote about her and her and her class was pretty vague.

Let’s see how can I describe her in a “nice” way? I’m not really sure how. I’m not even being vengeful or catty about this. At first when I took her class I thought it was just me who didn’t like her. I mean you can always have personality clashes with teachers. You know your friend and you can have the same teacher and you love them and think they are great and your friend thinks they are the most evil teacher in the world. I remember one time before class when she wasn’t there I was having a conversation with other student in the class, and they hated her too. I was happy it wasn’t just me.

Here’s how I ended up taking her class. At my first semester at that school, I was going to name it, but that was too easy. But if you know me and where I went to school you can figure it out. You might even figure out who I’m writing about, by not even mentioning her name. Since I had just come there and had no seniority I ended up taking one of the classes that was still available; a film history class. It was either that or a Toyota mechanic class. I’m not sure if I was up to fixing a Toyota. Anyway I took the film history class and loved it and my teacher too. She told us she also taught a Mass Media and Society class. The other students to who took both her classes said they were great. I heard all you did in there was watch Tarantino movies and write papers on them. That sounded cool, so I decided I would take her class next semester. Since I was still a new student to the school I got a bad registration date, by the time I could sign up for her class it was full. I thought “How bad would it be if I took the same class taught by another teacher?”

BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!

This was before myspace had that rate your professor/teacher feature. I didn’t even have a myspace back then. I didn’t know about the stand alone site either. I wasn’t smart enough back then to do my research. The funny thing is that on the myspace version and on the stand alone site. She gets bad ratings. Those rating sites can be very helpful. I learned about the quirky way my science teacher did her tests. I don’t sign up for classes without reading them anymore.

Let’s see… About her… She uses a lot of outdated material I mean really outdated like from the mid 80s to early 90s. The funny thing is that she makes a note of saying on the special note taking papers she make up especially for her class not to judge the video based on the date. She tired to cover her ass in all areas.

That lady wasted a lot of paper. She had so many printouts of articles she wanted us to read and stuff. She would fill up a whole big table with stacks of different papers and articles she wanted us to read.

Here is a funny “quirk” I heard about her. One of my other teachers told the class that she did not let her kids watch tv until they were 12. She wanted them to be readers.

She also would talk about how much she liked NPR. She would always talk about how much she hated commercial radio. I listened to NPR a few times. Most of the time I’ve listened to it the programs that were on were “boring”. Oops! :0 :# I shouldn’t be using that word. :P ;)

I guess being in her class was not all bad. Because I was in her class she essentially turned me into a Cena fan. Um…take that for what it is. I use to spend most of my time in class writing in my diary, doodling, and writing Cena-esque freestyles. I also produced a lot of neopets fan art in that class. I was so into neopets in 2004.

Are you a Fan?

Why do fans snub other fans? I’m talking about fans of the same thing within a fan community? It seems really silly although there are jerky fans in any community. I’m not going to single out particular groups, but I have dealt with some pretty jerky fans. These are all groups I associate myself with. I’m not going to make fun of groups I don’t belong to like say Jonas Brothers fans.

The Winx club fans can be jerky sometimes. I remember this one time I got chewed out on a Winx Club message board because I misspelled “enchantix” as “enchantrix”. I make a note now on message boards stating that I am a native speaker of English, but a bad speller. I also hate it when the fans insist you use the original Italian names. I know some of them like Layla is Aisha. So if they use that one I won’t get confused. I totally forget the names of the schools though.

OMG! I talked to one of the silliest Sailor Moon fans online. She got mad because the Skye Sweetnam (what happened to her?) song “Hypocrite” mentions Sailor Moon. In my personal opinion I think the song is taking about not calling Skye a hypocrite. I’m not really sure I have not listened to the song.

Sunday, November 19, 2006
LOLZ! Like Don’t totally say that!
Category: Web, HTML, Tech
I read this little complaint on a message board
Title:"I'm Am Soo Mad! Sailor Moon Fans Please Come Here
I know it may be petty but i found out someone tried to bash sailor moon in a song!!!!!It's old though. here is the part:[it's by Skye sweetnam]
Bubble gum brainiac
Baby girl, ultra brat
Angst Schmangst
No thanks
Hope my record doesnt tank
Sailor moon, Rainbow brite
Anime,Avril lite
Pro tools all the way
Hey,hey,hey,hey
chorus:
Dont try to label me hypocrite
Cause I will do what I want to
Some will say that I'm counterfeit
But I will be what I want to

I'm am beyond mad!!!!She shouldn't call sailor moon a hypocrite like that.she must not know the true meaning of sailor moon.Love and friendship.unlike her being a wanna be. Sailor moon isn't a hypocrite.she saves people with all her might.she would die to make someone else life ok.she had NOOO buieness saying that."
First off I don't know who is calling who petty here? Does it even matter? Of course not!
Omg I hope she doesn't ever hear One Week by the Barenaked Ladies. She'll Shit her pants.

This is the part of the song I’m referring to.

“Like Kurasawa I make mad films
'Kay I don't make films
But if I did they'd have a samurai
Gonna get a set of better clubs
Gotta find the kind with tiny nubs
just so my irons aren't always flying
off the back-swing
Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon
Cause that cartoon has got the boom anime babes
that make me think the wrong thing.”

Back when I took Japanese I wanted to hide the fact that I liked anime because I didn’t want other people in the class thinking I was in there just because of anime. I don’t want to say it was one of the many reasons I wanted to learn Japanese. Like I’ve stated before those are the kind of people that get made fun of in your class by the other students especially if you don’t stop talking about anime. This type of student is mentioned in this article. Within the second week Sailor Moon was mentioned. It was just a matter of time before the series was. I use to hide my Sailor Moon fandom in my Japanese class. Which was so hard to do. It killed me.

There was also this annoying otaku girl. She was always boasting about her knowledge of anime, Japan, and the Japanese language. I felt she was very immature. I just want to tell her I’m sorry for snubbing you. That was wrong on my part. I took some bad advice.

*Hiragana is a form of Japanese writing. It is one of the three writing systems used in the Japanese language.

Tuesday, March 13, 2007
”We were learning some English loan words. Those are pretty easy. I'm still having trouble reading and writing Hiragana. Those 2 otakus got into a discussion about anime again when we learned the word "inu" which means dog and this girl brought the subject of Inuyasha. Which lead into a full blown anime discussion. Then some other people were naming other animes and the otaku girl was snobbing the most of the animes named. She said Digimon is crap. Now I wouldn't say it's crap, but it isn't that good. But I don't snub animes. Hey if you like Digimon, great. Cause I know there haters out there for every anime ever made. Dragonball haters, Pokemon haters, Inuyasha haters, Voltron haters, Sailor Moon haters, One Piece haters, Naruto haters, and so on. So this one girl says that Sailor Moon is the girls' version of Dragonball. So the otaku girl who was sitting behind me was saying that Sailor Moon is more "dark and twisted" than Dragonball. I really don't know I'm not a Dragonball fan. I've seen a few Z episodes, but that's about it. Those 2 girls were really getting into that discussion and talking over the teacher. They were really getting into the Sailor Moon discussion talking about the "cousins" and what they really are, the difference between Chibi Chibi and Rini/Chibiusa and other elements from the series. She was saying about how the manga is better than the anime, and I agree. She says she likes the Stars season/saga. I'm familiar with Stars. I mean I know the plot, but I've never seen it or read the manga. When it was break time so they left the room to carry on the discussion. Since I wasn't in on the discussion I didn't leave the room, plus I was still working on my Hiragana and I needed help from the teacher. When they came back the girl said she is not an otaku because they are way more into anime and manga than her, and if she not then I must be otaku extra lite. Then they said not to say anything bad in front of a Sailor Moon fan girl which they totally were, but didn't know, and I didn't want them to. Plus they were acting like all the fan girls would get pissed if they talked ill of Sailor Moon. Just for the record we are all not like that.”

I know a lot of fans of other wrestlers HATE John Cena fans. But I’m only going to talk about the Cena fans interacting with the other Cena fans. I’ll admit some Cena fans can be annoying. They write very inane things about Cena on the internet and usually only like him for his “hotness”. They usually claim he is the best wrestler ever. I want to say that I like Cena as much as the next person (who likes him), but I don’t like him based on his “hotness” or his “superior wrestling ability”. I like him because he is funny, passionate about his job, has good mic skills, and is good to his fans. They usually have silly Cena-centric user names like “future Mrs. Cena”, “Cena‘s wifey” or “Alice Cena”. They just make Cena their last name. This kind of user name is common I see it with many other celebrities last names.

I wasn’t planning on writing about these fans, but since Drew Carey addressed them in his blog and what they were writing about and to him I thought they deserved a little nod. I want to say that I have been to quote Bob here “A loyal friend and true” to the show since 1986. I’m not here to out fan any other Price fan. There are many fans of all ages who have been watching for different intervals of time. I just want to say that I belong to that site that Drew mentions. I don’t go on there or post there much, and when I do I mostly express my love for Holly (former Barker‘s Beauty who was fired in 1995 for gaining too much weight) and the retired game Superball. I feel my knowledge of Price is not very extensive. I do recommend going to that site if you want to see screenshots of old shows and to see/remember what old props, sets, and games looked like. I don’t know what happened between Drew and that site I remember they organized a fan chat together.

Happy Birthday Cena!

Cena Media Blitz

I was happy that Cena got rebooked on Leno. Too bad he was on the same show as Seacrest. If you want to know only one thing about me it’s that I hate Ryan Seacrest. I don’t hate him for no reason. Back in 1995 when my class went to a taping of a game show that he was hosting my friends and I wanted autographs, and he was very rude to us. After that I’ve hated Seacrest ever since. I think it’s funny that Seacrest has a way of appearing where my favorite celebrities are. I don’t know how many times I had to endure Seacrest for Gwen.

Is Jimmy Fallon a HeMan fan? I have seen a few references on the show like when he wanted castle Greyskull in the background and when he had an iphone app that made the caller’s voice sound like Skeletor. He looks really short too. I think he did back on SNL. I’m not going to say he looked short next to Will Ferrel because he’s like what 6’4”? Wasn’t he like one of the tallest cast members? Jimmy looked pretty short when he was standing next to Cena, and Cena is 6 feet tall.

Fallon didn’t really have much to say to Cena. He did mention Wrestlemania. I thought it was really funny when Cena said Jimmy has a high yelling voice. Jimmy does have a small voice. I thought their interview was funny though. I like the part when Cena was in all these fake movies. I’d watch Uncle Babysitter and the one about the hot dog vendor. The hot dog vendor one sort of sounded like The Marine.

3 Active Fandoms and a Birthday

The Darklings are all a buzz because Shirley posted a demo of one of her “noir” songs on her facebook profile. It didn’t really matter because I was planning on leaving her an inane comment if she posted something or not.

I can’t explain why but the song sort of reminds me of the Gwen song “Early Winter”. I don’t want anybody hating on me for saying that or thinking I’m trying to compare Gwen’s solo stuff to Shirley‘s. The song reminds me a little of “Cup of Coffee” too. Well at least she didn’t make a song like “Buttons”. I don’t think she would write a song like that. It’s not her style. I don’t see how this song is “noir”. There are Garbage songs more noir than that. I think it was just an excuse to drop her from the label.

I thought it was funny when Shirley used the word “noirling” would the correct term be “noirette“? If the word was literally translated into French. I’m not going to really criticize the word “noirling” since she coined it.

It was my mom’s birthday yesterday. Too bad my mom isn’t a darkling. She would’ve eaten that up if she was.

You know my mom shares a birthday (day and month) with Lady Gaga and Chester from Linkin Park. I already knew she shares one with Pat Riley. She use to share one with Fred Rogers well until he died. Here’s a silly idea I had. To throw a celebrity birthday party. Depending on your birthday the theme of your party would be the celebrities that share it with you. For example my mom’s party would have Lady Gaga and Linkin Park songs playing. You could show episodes of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, Spike Lee movies, and decorate with Lakers, Heat, Knicks and Rockets things. That’d be a pretty funky party. :/

You know what sucks 3 of my fandoms are currently active and I’m having a hard time keeping up. They are; Shirley Manson, John Cena, and No Doubt. @o@

I haven’t decided if I’m going to see his movie. The Marine was a real disappointment. I didn’t expect much from him. He’s not really an actor. He was very funny on his appearance on Kimmel. I thought it was funny when Kimmel told Cena to call his fans “Cena-citizens” LOL! :P

Another Miscellaneous Blog

This is just a catch all blog. I’m going to cover a lot of different topics. My hair is acting weird again. I think I’m going to cut it really short since spring is coming up and I usually cut it really short for the spring. Maybe I’ll dye it blue and wear it in odangos. Then I’ll have a hair style like Mint from Tokyo Mew Mew. It’d be like a little tribute to her. She is an obsessive fan girl too. The problem is that blue fades quickly, and into an ugly color. Well at least it doesn’t look as bad a green does when it fades. I haven’t decided yet.

My dad doesn’t know about history. Computer browsing history. He keeps telling me that his history is mine. Plus for some reason he doesn’t know how to close it. He keeps trying to trick me and tell me that what I look for is what he finds. This can’t be possible for 2 reasons. I have a different computer user account than he does and I password protected mine, and he browses with IE. I don’t use that. It’s only Firefox for me.

March Madness is starting up too. Too bad the CSUF Titians didn’t make it this year. Did you read my archives blog? Can you spot the mistake in it? I said CSUF is a division II school it’s a division I school. There are a lot of students there. It’s one of the most crowded schools in the state. I’m pulling for the UCLA Bruins. That is the school I wanted to go to if I was smarter. I know I keep saying that. Why do they have 65 teams? That number is not divisible by 4.

Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day and of course I had corned beef. That is my favorite thing about the holiday. I’m not much on getting drunk. I made some fusion cuisine today; corned beef ramen. This is a fun recipe to make just make sure that you don’t add too much flavor salt packet corned beef is very salty on it’s own. I used a cut of meat and not the one from the can. Surprisingly I have not had the from the can, but I did buy a can to try. If anybody wants the recipe I’ll post it. I added some green onions to the ramen too.

You know John Cena got bumped from the Tonight Show as guest by Obama. Well the president would have precedence over somebody like Cena. I was looking at the guests for Jimmy Fallon’s show and he is slated to be the guest on the 25th. I wonder how he will interact with Fallon? He was hilarious when he was on Conan. Two tall guys from Massachusetts. It’s ok since Cena and Fallon are some of my celebrity crushes.

It’s weird having a St. Patrick’s day without watching Late Night with Conan O’Brien. I miss Conan’s St. Patrick’s day antics. Jimmy Fallon is Irish too. Or at least I think he is? I watched Jimmy’s show and he celebrated the holiday, but it just wasn’t the same.

I’ve been thinking about the Xanga account I use to blog in. I mostly used that account to write about music and lyrics until I got bored with keeping it updated. I essentially abandoned it. I think there is an album review of “The Sweet Escape” in there.

I have been working on this one blog for a few weeks now and it’s so intensive. I’ve been putting a lot of work into it and doing a lot of personal research. It has 2 companion blogs. I’m getting frustrated with it a little because it’s taking so long for me to write it. I can’t seem to format it correctly. A lot of the paragraphs seem awkward or out of place. No matter how I edit it I’m still not satisfied with it.

The Return of the 99 Cent Cena Fan

Ok I'm taking a new approach to this blog. Plus this blog references something that happened to me last year. Since I'm assuming that the people that are reading this blog are not familiar with my previous blog I will post it on here for your enjoyment.

Originally posted on myspace on Sunday, June 1st, 2008. The story happened to me on May 30th.

I was at the 99 Cents store yesterday and I was wearing my Cena shirt. At the check out line I wanted to know how much some candy was. The guy at the checkout told me they were 4 for 99 cents so I ran back to candy aisle to get another candy. When I get back into the line he asks me if I like John Cena. I thought he was going to say he hates Cena or something like that. But he said he's a Cena fan too. Then he started listing Cena's moves. He said he likes the 5 Knuckle Shuffle which is my favorite Cena move too. He started to brush off his shoulder like Cena does. He asked me if I've seen Cena live, but then my mom (who was with me) said that I waited 8 hours to meet him. He said he waited 10 hours to meet Cena and have him sign a shirt at a house show. He told me he likes Cena because he's respectful to the fans. When we left I was thinking about telling the guy some silly or trite Cena phrase like "Word Life", but I didn't. The funny thing is that he's a male fan who's over the age of 10. So they do exist! I met this fan in person and not over the internet.

This reminded me of when I bought some shoes last year and I was wearing a Cena shirt and the guy who worked at the store asked me if I also liked The Rock. I said no because I didn't really follow wrestling when he was around.

Well today I was back at that same 99 cents store wearing that same Cena shirt. (I have 2 different Cena shirts) The only reason I was wearing it was because it was clean. Ever since I moved I just wear whatever I find that is clean. When I walked in the store I thought I saw that guy, but it was so long ago I wasn't sure. I just shook it off. Later I noticed when I was at the regester he was the cashier. I remember it was the same guy because he has an uncommon name. He sees my Cena shirt and asks if I'm a fan. It's the same situation over again. I don't mind or anything. I don't want to be snobby. I tell him didn't we meet before? I was like I ran out of line to buy some candy. He remembered that. Two things I love John Cena and candy.
