Sexy Disney

Look at these sexy Disney and Disney inspired costumes. I don’t remember  

Pinocchio or  

Peter Pan being so sexy.  

This sexy Daisy costume looks nothing like her. What’s next sexy Webby, Mrs. Beakley, Magica?
I know there are sexy knockoff Minnie Mouse costumes. They have names like Mini Mouse or Pinup Mouse. This geisha mouse costume is too ambiguous and arbitrary for me.  
I really don’t get this sexy knockoff Nemo costume. It doesn’t even look like a fish. Who knew Nemo could be sexy?

Disney has some untapped sexy mouse costume ideas. What about Bianca from the Rescuers? All she wears is a purple fur hat and a purple fur wrap. Real sexy! Don’t wear a bottom. Or maybe some white hot pants or something. Gadget from the Rescue Rangers could be sexy too. Even though the Rangerphiles (fans of the show) don’t like to see erotic pictures of Gadget. It was a children's cartoon after all. I guess the costume could be made sexier by having somebody wear a tight purple jumpsuit. You could always be Gadget’s spy alter ego. You could always be Gadget’s Hawiian look-a-like Lawhinie. (that is the correct spelling of her name.)

Entertain Me! Then Feed Me!

This is a blog about the entertainment and food trends of the decade. This blog is probably the weakest of all my "looking back at the decade" blogs.

Disney
Now Disney has been around for a while, but I’m talking about those tween shows like Hannah Montana and That’s So Raven. Don’t forget their movies like High School Musical, the Cheetah Girls and Camp Rock. Oh yeah and Disney music.

PokémonA trend that carried over from the 90s. Did Pokémon ever really go away? They just added more characters and Pokémon. I can’t wait until Pokémon Uranium comes out!

Pirates
I’m not talking about the baseball team.
After Pirates of the Caribbean everybody wanted to be a pirate. The funny thing was I always wondered was did all pirates along time ago wear dreadlocks and eyeliner?

Vampires
The thing that debunked the pirates; they are hotter than ever. Better not eat that garlic! Now they do silly things like sparkle. I liked when they wore capes or when Buffy was slaying them.

Penguins
They were really popular with movies like March of the Penguins Happy Feet, and Surf’s Up. They were everywhere and trendy.

This is the music portion of the blog. Please don’t complain if I accidentally misclassified something.

Nu Metal
This genre was really popular at the beginning of the decade and pretty much held on strong.

Garage Rock
This genre started off strong at the beginning of the decade.

Boy Bands
They carried over from the 90s, and pretty much lost their popularity by around 2002.

Emo Music
Don’t get mad at me and tell I’m misclassifying music. I’m talking about the early 2000s emo that came out. There was some spillage from the late 90s. Then there was that wave after it when a lot of bands were being misclassified as emo. It was used as umbrella for a lot of music that didn’t belong to the genre.

Pop Punk
This is a genre a lot of people hate. I like it. Kill me ok? I have a crush on Mark Hoppus. *blushes* This genre waxed and waned throughout the decade.

Reggaeton
Ok I’ll admit I never really listened to Reggaeton. “Gasolina” is probably only one of reggaeton songs I can name.

I’m gonna talk about food trends.

Low Carb Craze
This was started by the Atkins Diet and other similar plans. You couldn’t go anywhere without find something that said “low carb”. I sort of liked this trend. You could just eat meatballs and no pasta. (I don’t really like pasta). I embraced it …sort of. It was the low carb wraps I couldn’t stomach.

BaconI loved bacon ever since I can remember. A lot of people say that it has become a trendy food due to the low carb craze. Bacon isn’t exactly a new food or anything though.

Boba
Well you know my views on boba.

Mrs. Post is Dead

Connie Hines died. She played Carol Post in the tv series Mister Ed. No disrespect to Connie and her family, but I thought she was dead. I thought the only surviving member left was Alan Young who played Wilbur Post.
Speaking of Mister Ed and Alan Young while I was watching Mister Ed I was thinking about Shirley. Actually I was thinking about what a good American accent Young did when he played Wilbur. Like Shirley he is from Edinburgh. Later he went on to voice Scrooge McDuck in Mickey's Christmas Carol and Ducktales.

I like Mice

After looking over that blog I wrote about Halloween I remembered I also want to dress as Gadget from Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and Pinky from Pinky and the Brain. Then I realized they are both mouse characters.

I’ve wanted to dress as Gadget since I was about 5, and liked that character. I remember one year I think in like 1990 or 1991 I was really thinking about making a costume. I was talking it over with my mom. We were thinking about how to make it. Gadget wears a purple jumpsuit with a magenta belt or band on it. Back then I use to like to wear goggles on my head like a headband like she does. She was doing that before it was cyberpunk/cybergoth. I think I use to wear swim goggles. We talked about it but the costume never materialized I think I ended up being a witch. That was the first time I dressed as a witch. I think I’ve been one about 5 or 6 times since then.

I think the costume will be easy to make all you need is a purple jumpsuit, some magenta fabric to make the belt, blue goggles (you could always paint them or something), long strawberry blond hair, and a pink nose.

Pinky what can I say about him? I’ve always liked him. Well he’s not my favorite Animaniacs character. That’s Mindy. Pinky and I do share a physical attribute. Pinky was my nickname in 6th grade. It would be fun and hard to dress as Pinky. I’d need a fur suit or something. I don’t want a giant head. I’d rather paint my face or something.

Then I can really get into character, and go around yelling things like “Narf!”, “Poit!”, “Troz!”, and “Zort!”. I can also talk with a cockney accent like Pinky has and say “Egad!”

In case anybody doesn't know. Pinky is the taller mouse in the picture. Brain is the shorter one.

I think these drawings are too ugly and simple to even put on Deviantart. I might change my mind though. I drew them in 1st grade.
