Miscellaneous blog #7

I went to the store today to see if there was any good colors of hair dye on sale. Most of the colors that were on sale were shades of brown. EW! I hate brown hair! Maybe I should finish my blog explaining why I hate it. They had blond dye, but it wasn't on sale :( I'd like to be a blond it's such a summer hair color.

Maybe the WWE going to Staples tonight did hurt the Lakers. they lost by a lot tonight. Well you can blame me for not having a lot of faith in them on Saturday although they pulled it out. Now they are tied 2-2.

Speaking of the Lakers I saw a lot of flags on cars today and got nostalgic again. There were a lot of flags for sale at the store too. They even had Lakers reusable shopping bags. There's nothing better than saving the environment and showing your support for the Lakers at the same time.

I went to the shoe store too. The shoes now are so ugly. They are too bold and colorful. I don't really like bold shoes anymore. A few years ago I went "crazy" and I got some cherry print shoes. I don't like printed shoes because they can really clash with your outfit. Call me old fashioned, but I love black shoes. I have so many different pairs of black shoes. I'm not a breaker, but I love Adidas shelltoes. They are just so comfortable.

Miscellaneous blog #6

I decided that my messed up twitter profile is just frustrating me too much. I decided to walk away from it for a bit. I will still be going on the site to read what the people I follow have to say. I might miss something important.

I made a octopus hot dog today. I got the idea from watching Erin’s Challenge! I Can Speak Japanese. They show how to make them in episode 2. They call them “octopus wieners”. I know the title sounds a little perverted. Here’s instructions on how to make them. These instructions tell you to put the hot dog in the microwave. On the show they said to fry them. I fried mine. You can also make little eyes with sesame seeds. I didn’t have any on hand so I just cut the features on with a knife. Here is a picture of it. My mom thought I was trying to be like Shirley by taking a picture of food, but I wasn’t this time. I just wanted people to see what I had cooked. The picture does need a proper title.

My octopus hot dog
Or you could always buy this neat little item. Although it only cuts the hot dog into 6 pieces which would really make a “squid”.

You know there is something I always wanted to do. To learn hip hop dancing. It’s not because of all those dance show that have become popular recently. I’ve wanted to learn how to hip hop dance since I was about 8. I think i should get in shape first before I attempt this. I 'd really like to learn how to dance correctly.

Hurt my leg today. I fell on my bed. It’s amazing how quickly my knee bruised up. It’s all purpley.

I know a lot of the fans are still mad about the cancellation of Terminator. I’m not swearing off Fox. For 2 reasons: I don’t get many channels, and because I enjoy their animated shows; although the Simpsons has been lacking in recent years. You know this is the same thing that happened when The OC got canceled. Why can’t people be mature about this kind of thing? Plus Glee looks like a good show.

miscellaneous blog #5

Sorry for the lack of blogs this week. I don't know why I'm feeling a lot more lethargic than usual.

I usually don't blog about sports much, but I'll talk about the Lakers and WWE briefly. I think that Vince cursed the Lakers by acting so silly to get mainstream media attention. I can be a little superstitious about sports, and I'm not even a big basketball fan. You know the Lakers have been in the NBA Finals 5 times in the past 9 years. They won 3 back when they had that dynasty goin' on. Laker flags on cars make me nostalgic. They also lost 2 series; 1 to Detroit and 1 to Boston. Remember when the Nuggets use to wear jerseys with a rainbow on them?

For some reason I splurged on nail polish again. I guess I liked it because it changed color outdoors which really shouldn't be something that appeals to me since I hardly ever go outside anymore. Maybe this summer it will be my goal to get pasty instead of tanning. It'll help me with coming up with a Halloween costume in the late summer/early fall. I guess I bought it because it was $1.

I'd like to dedicate some more songs. To the couple I dedicated "Deadwood" to I'm dedicating "Sailin' On" the No Doubt cover to them. To the person moving to New York I'd like to dedicate them a song about New York since I neglected to do that in the last dedication blog I wrote. I'm dedicating "Autumn in New York" to them.

I can't think of a good or clever title.

I just want get this blog out quickly while I have time between Gossip Girl and True Tears. True Tears is a good anime BTW. Highly recommended.

It's official Terminator got canceled. :( Too bad I was really enjoying that show, and not just because Shirley was in it. I was getting into the plots and such. Well I guess that means she can focus on her music. I was really hoping it would get renewed since Dollhouse got a second season. That was before I read why it did. It did because it's a Fox owned show, and Terminator is a WB franchise. I'm thinking about buying the season 2 DVDs, but I'm not sure yet. I even left her an inane post on her wall on regarding the show. I really hope she blogs about it on her facebook page. I look at the cancellation as something kind of good and kind of bad. I know she has just gotten into acting, but I'll always think of her as a musician first. That's how I became a fan of her in the first place. I want her to do what makes her happy. I should write something silly like the WWE writes to the talent they release. They write something like "we would like to wish (wrestler's name) the best in their future endeavors." A lot of the fans of the show are angry about this. I would say I'm more sad or disappointed.

Here is some crappy PPG style Shirley fanart I made last month. Shirley looks like she's wearing a horse riding outfit.

I was going to write about some other random things, but this deserves to get it's own blog.

miscellaneous blog #4

I just feel like uh... freestyle blogging. This blog was not preplanned or prewritten.

Yesterday I tried a Philly cheese steak sandwich from Domino's. I was thinking about having sushi, but I went for a sandwich instead. It was really good. I ordered it with no mushrooms though. I hate mushrooms. I would love to go to this place I heard about in LA where they say they make cheese steak sandwiches just like they do in Philly. I remember it being mentioned on the radio before. Which made me think. What is the specialty food of LA? Do we even have one?

So Dollhouse got renewed for another season... I wonder if that means Terminator will too? Here's hoping. Maybe Shirley won't be an unemployed actress. the new schedule will be announced tomorrow.

I want to change my hair again. I'm dissatisfied with it. I could use another dye job. My hair is faded dark red with brown roots. I'm thinking a funky color like pink or yellow (not blond).

(no title)

You know how I’ve been obsessing over this blog lately and needed to take a step away from it because of that.

A few weeks ago I realized something. I feel isolated because I’m really getting any social interaction. I mean like just talking to people in person. I don’t mean like partying or anything like that. That’s not my style. Pretty much all the social interaction I get is by bickering with my dad.

I hardly ever speak either. I think I “talk” more online than I do in person. I’m not really sad or anything; I just feel more reserved; even at home. I just don’t feel like talking.

You know now I understand when celebrities say they feel isolated. I am by no means famous or anything, but I think I understand. The funny thing is that usually I thrive on solitude. I’m an only child I can deal with being alone. I can be a lone wolf sometimes. I perfectly content with eating alone or seeing a movie alone.

I decided to go back to school when it starts up. I need some interaction. I decided that I’ll take a class that I don’t need transcripts for like an elective or something just to see how I like the school. I’m taking everything day by day since the future is uncertain.

I want to look at it with an “All or Nothing” attitude since I might not be able to transfer without an AA which I really don’t want. This is one of the tendencies of people born under the year of the pig. I’m going to try and meet with a counselor to see what my options are.

Worst Tutor Ever!

This blog reflects my qualms about going back to school.

Yeah so I’m not in school right now. There is good reason for me not to be and that is my dad. Last time when he wasn’t working and I was in school (junior college) he would keep going to school with me and bothering me. The problem with him is that I don’t know he just doesn’t seem to trust me or something. It’s not like I’ve done something wrong. He’s a lot like my grandma (his mother). He just has to like oversee things. He’s a micromanager helicopter dad.

I don’t trust him if I go to a new school. I know he will tell me that he “needs” to go with me because I’m new to that school, and I don’t know it very well. Then he’ll talk about some class he took there in the 80s, and how he knows his way around the school which has probably been remodeled since then.

Back when I was in high school and struggling with algebra and geometry my dad “tried” to tutor me. First off let me say he’s a horrible tutor. He just gets way too frustrated. He says he good at math, but he’s not that good. I will say he’s better than me at it.

That’s why whenever I have homework that I know he’ll want to try and help me with even if he is working I will try, and do my homework when he is not home or asleep. My mom thinks I do my homework at strange hours because I’m lazy, but I’m just avoiding my dad. I’ll do homework he can’t help me with in front of him like writing essays on books he hasn’t read or practicing Japanese.
