I'm sick with a sore throat and I'm so annoyed! I really want to look for a job, but I think most people wouldn't want to hire a sick person. I think I got sick when I walked that half mile.

I was not Around for his Parents' Wedding

I don’t remember or watched the one with Diana and Charles. I’m the same age as Prince Harry.

If Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) was a real person she would be all over this. She’d probably host some kind of event related to it. Like a tea or a supper.

I should really be into this type of thing. Part is my heritage is rooted in the UK. Maybe I'll just stick to liking music from the UK, teddy boy style, and UK comedies.

It was funny the way Fallon was preempted. If I was running NBC I would have just shown the monologue. (come on NBC this was your plan for something else...) NBC is like that incompetent person I know. I hope they would do something logical and they end up doing something hard, and stupid without reason. Shout out to booty shorts and the playoffs.

I watched a lot of trhe wedding. I watched some of the pre-wedding commentary and the procession. The dress was beautiful! I watched part of the vows too. Then I started watching Mister Ed and Heathcliff.
I predict there will be a few prom dresses "inspired" by Kate's dress. There won't be much time to get a seamstress to make one. Usually prom dresses have to be commissioned by February at the latest. I learned this the hard way. Usually girls get dresses "inspired" by the Oscars. They might have to wait until homecoming or winter formal to get a Kate dress.

Goodbye Michael

I installed Firefox 4 yesterday. I had a hard time getting use to it, so I knew my dad would. He is totally technology inept. Such a n00b! I didn't want to be bothered to try and teach him how to use it and have him constantly yell the phrase "I DON'T KNOW!" at me. Me helping him to try and use it will be a disaster in a bottle. That's my new catch phrase. Does it suck? Is it too insensitive?

Michael's departure on The Office was good. Toby's brother Rory was hilarious! Dwight got the recognition he wanted from Michael. it was funny when Deangelo was making food on the coffee maker, getting pumped at the animal shelter, and eating the cake.
Michael should get some za in Colorado. Too bad Sbarro is closing a lot of locations.

30 Rock was really funny too. Liz going to city hall was so funny. It was like the time I was trying to get a street light fixed on the street I use to live on. I don't know if it got fixed or not eventually I moved away. The montage scene was funny. It reminded me of the Street Frogs. (if you don't know what that is look it up. )

After what happened yesterday. I'm too sore to do anything.

I've been working on a Royal Wedding blog.

Good News, Bad News

I did get sent to the wrong department. I'm not really sure who could help me. I got paired up with the same counselor from Everybody Hates Counseling. At least this time it was more focused, and not about all the opportunities in America. Which are dwindling by the minute.

But the academic renewal rejection must have been pretty confusing if the counselor from another school didn't get it. I even mentioned to him about the strange phone call I received in February at about 9 AM asking me if I was going to take a failed class immediately. He agreed that it was strange too. He said the committee who over sees academic renewal is composed up of staff and the dean. After he told me that I wondered if that deranged reporter teacher was on the committee. It would be like one of those cheesy teen dramas I watch.

The good news was that the counselor tole me that I can apply for fall classes, and that my academic renewal rejection should not be a problem.

I have a no calling policy because when I did go to school my dad would call me for really stupid things. That’s how I broke my last phone, and I’m not taking a risk on breaking this one. Except for that my phone crapped out on me. It said I didn’t reload it when I did last week. It wouldn’t let me make calls out. At the bus stop I was yelling the phrase “CUSTOMER SERVICE!” into the phone. People at the bus stop were laughing at me. I needed to find a phone. But where? Since everybody uses cell phones I thought all the public phones are gone. They were hard enough to find in 2002. They are even harder to find now.

I had no idea what to do. I decide t just take another bus to get me closer to where I needed to be. This happened to me before, but that was when I lived at my old house so it wasn’t that bad. I lived close to a bus stop. The only bad thing was that I wore some cute shoes and walking a long way in those shoes gave me really bad blisters.

First I was going to go a store that sold phone cards for my type of phone, and recharge it. I decided to not give the phone company that satisfaction. When I get to the bus stop for the other bus I see it zoom by. I was not going to wait idly for another hour for another one. I needed to get home and yell at the people from the phone company and tell them that my phone doesn’t work! So I decided to walk back. I was tired already and it was hot so I walked slowly. I had no idea where I was going, but I remembered that I rode that bus before so I just followed the route. I knew I was on the right path every time I passed a bus stop. At least I got a lot of exercise. I walked a mile and a half.

I did mange to get everything cleared up with the phone company and I didn't need to buy more minutes.

Why did they call this episode a Lady Gaga episode? Really? "Unpretty" was ok, but it didn't do justice to the original TLC version. Everybody needs to see the TLC video. The breast implant scene made me wince. Was I missing something here? I think an appropriate song would have been "Bleed Like Me". I'm just a sucker for that song. I wonder which mall they shoot their mall scenes at? It looks familiar.

I think my shirt would either say "bad teeth", "brown hair", or "childish". Maybe even "tall" or "big feet" because I was very self conscious about my height and shoe size when I was in high school. When I was younger I didn’t like my nose. I wanted one like my cousin’s (who had a pug nose). Now I’m happy with my Paul McCartney-like nose. This was sort of funny since I’ve been fretting about being ugly, and not being able to get a job because of that.

What would your shirt say?

Blogging about Blogging

I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a bad day I have to go back to school to get something straightened out. I think they sent me to the wrong department.

I've been disappointed with the 14 2/3 season of Arthur. The episode "Follow the Bouncing Ball" was a little too much like "D.W.'s Backpack Mishap". I think the one about D.W. was much funnier. At least the one about the ball had a funny joke about soccer and football. The one thing I didn't get in "Muffy and the Big Bad Blog" was why didn't Ratburn blog about puppets? In "Best of the Nest" he was intrigued by a puppet chat room. People who blog should watch the one about Muffy blogging. It's really funny.

(the rest of season 14 is going to be season 15 in the US!)

Party Like a Baka!

If you hate to read a blog peppered with Japanese words then don't read this entry. You have been warned.

I'm taking a page from Shirley's facebook notes and channeling somebody. I'm channeling characters from Lupin the 3rd. Mostly Jigen, Zeingata and maybe a little bit of Lupin. I'm also channeling Mr. K and Honigon.
Jigen's cynical nature and love for American food. Zenigata's desperation. Lupin's goofiness. Mr. K and Honigon's knowledge of the Japanese language.

I think the bad luck started when my dad was driving and a black cat crossed the street in front of the car. It made me think of "Sugar Water". I broke into song in the car, but my parents had no idea what I was singing. "When a black cat crosses my path, A woman in the moon is singing to the earth" Then I thought about how much I like the video.
I'm treading a fine line here and I'm trying to be somewhat diplomatic. When somebody is expected to be somewhere and don't show up or bother to come up with a valid reason. There is room for anger. Waiting around like a baka!

Ja ne!

Enviro-“mental”

I had this strange dream about my parents my mom had the power to teleport she was bothering me while I was trying to cook leeks for soup or something. My dad was upset because his Buick got in an accident and was totaled. He was also upset because somebody offered to buy the broken car off him for $1.25.

I forgot it was Earth Day until I saw it mentioned on The Price is Right. I wrote a funny Earth Day tweet referencing a lyric from "What are we Gonna Do?". I wrote "Happy Earth Day send the message".
Later when I was looking for a video on one of my tapes I found the video for the Dramarama song "What are we Gonna Do?" this was purely coincidental I was looking for a Moby video.

Back in 1999 my high school threw an Earth Day fair type thing. I remember part of the outfit I wore that day. I wore a blue jacket with a black faux fur collar and a pikachu shirt. It looks like the jacket Gwen is wearing in this picture. I was my first time wearing that pikachu shirt to school. The jacket was low cut, so the pikachu was prominently shown.

I spent most of my time with my friend and her boyfriend. The games were free. Most of the prizes given out were mostly junky fish shaped things. They reminded me of my pet fish. A few games were giving out erasers.
They were those ones that look like the world. The student government was making and giving out balloon animals. The problem was that they hadn’t practiced, and there were only 2 girls making them. When we got there it looked like they were just opening up a klutz book and a pack of balloons. About 1%-3% of the students at the fair got a balloon animal or hat.

The food was gross. The only food they were selling were overly greasy Rice Krispie treats and cucumber with chili powder on top. My friend bought some treats and they were so greasy we could barley hold on to them. They were sliding out of our hands, and they were wrapped.

I got bored with hanging out with my friend and her boyfriend. I was just a 3rd wheel. I decided to wander around on my own. I "ran into" my crush twice. Later I ran into my math tutor. There was a craft area and I tried to make some kind of pom pom animal with tacky craft glue, but it fell apart. I purposely ran into my crush, and told him that the ugly necklace he made was good. I wanted him to comment on my coat. There were also some sea animals that could be pet. I pet those. Then I wanted to play a game and the guy running it (a student) said let the Pokemon girl play. I thought this was hilarious.

In my class after the fair most of the people in the class were pelting each other with the erasers given as prizes. That class was composed of mostly hooligans, and the teacher had no control over the class.

When my math teacher saw a balloon dog somebody had. He said it was made wrong. He tired to fix it. He said somebody's balloon hat looked pornographic. (it sort of did)

High on the Gas

The 100th episode of 30 Rock was ok. I was kind of disappointed. It sort of reminded me of the Just Shoot Me episode Lemon Wacky Hello. There was another show I saw with a similar plot where somebody wrote something when they were high on something and then realized it's nonsense. But it's not the Seinfeld episode (The Heart Attack) when George goes to the holistic healer.

Danny isn't seen in the show much. I totally forgot about him.

At least they showed a clip from one of my favorite episodes "Sandwich Day'.

No Uglies Allowed

Why are looks so more important than talent in a job? Like why is a photo needed to apply for a job to pass out fliers? No uglies allowed? Some of the jobs state that a person just had to be good looking, and ability is not important. (those were not for acting or modeling jobs)

I feel like Moe in the Simpsons episode "Pygmoelain". Maybe if I get some plastic surgery I can get a job as a actress on a tv drama. I hope there are "Sexy Results"! Read by the angel from the future.

Maybe I should go to places where I see ugly people working and apply there. It's worth a try.

Purple Tweed Dress

Today was hiring day at McDonald's my dad got mad at me for "hogging" the computer. I applied to about 10 restaurants, but all I got were automated replies.

Glee was funny! Mercedes being a diva asking for a bunch of crazy things. I did that once too. The only reason this was on my mind was because I was reading old diaries again to get ideas for my comic. What happened to me was a group of girls I went to school with about 4 wanted to start a singing group. They wanted me to join, but I thought it was a bad idea. Their style was going to be pop/R&B. I thought it was more sensible to start a ska or swing band. Mind you this was 1998. Here was my crazy demand; I wanted a purple tweed dress. (If anybody knows their No Doubt history would know why I wanted this) I assumed nobody would produce it, and they didn’t. I didn’t join the group. They said I could be the manager instead. I’m not sure exactly what I was managing. The group broke up quickly due to inner conflicts.

Brittany uses a novelty pen it can be seen in the scene where Holly is talking about history. It was funny when she knew a lot about cat diseases. Well she does think her cat reads her diary.

I noticed that the guy who plays Vocal Adeline’s coach isn’t in 30 Rock or at least I have not seen him in the show recently. Maybe since Thanksgiving.

What I don't get about the benefit concert was that not even New Directions' family came. That was pretty strange not even somebody's mom or bother or something. Besides Kurt.

I got a call for a job today, but I got it late in the day for tomorrow. I'm not going.

Comics and Sub Cultures

I found some old comics I drew in 1998. They are kind of funny and poorly drawn. They were drawn before I took an art class. I use to draw them during silent reading time. They are kind of mean too, so I won’t post them. I thought they’d give me ideas for the comic I’m making.

Speaking of things from 1998 I have a question about sub cultures. What is a groover is that like a B-boy/girl or a break dancer? What is a rebel is that like a mix between a biker and a teddy boy? Or or they like a Greaser? Please answer if you know. I'm stumped.

Posting Ads

Since graduation is coming up a lot of jobs will be open for new people. A lot of places want to hire graduates.

I got the idea to post an ad about myself. I’ve seen other people do it on the web. I’ll just list specifics I like I don’t have a car or kids because employers want to know that stuff, but legally can’t ask it. The gist of my ad would say that I’m desperate for an opportunity.

I’m not sure if it is a good idea though? Could that be potentially dangerous? Or could people think I’m advertising “other services“?

After reading the newspaper I found a (legitimate) volunteer opportunity present it's self to me.

Hello Phone Card!

I picked up some Hello Panda cookies meiji brand. They are the meiji version of Koala's March (Koala Yummies). I'll review them later.

The cashier at the Target reminded me of a mix of my old reporter teacher mixed with Target lady from the SNL skits. She thought my reloadable phone card was some type of strange looking gift card.

I was in the mood for buying stuff, so I also bought myself a "Bleed Like Me" ring tone. I think it fits the personality of my phone.

One Blog to Post

All My Children and One Life to Live are canceled. The decline of soaps is due to the high production costs. I heard nobody is really watching them. I was never big on soaps. I really wish that if a broadcast network does decide to make a new soap (like that would happen) they would make them like the short J and K dramas. Some of those run for a few weeks; a new episode each week and then they are done. They don 't drag on for years or even decades. I don't mean like the mynetworktv English telenovelas which were shown 7 days a week. Just a show that is on 5 days a week like a soap, but the whole series is over in about 2 months; 40 episodes.

Who are really left in those shows Vicki? Erica? That guy who is twins, but played by one man.

I petition ABC should bring back Mike and Maty.

Long Distance

I went through some more of my old tapes. I found the one that I had taped the "Praise You" video on. There is also an Arling & Cameron I really enjoy. The one for "We Love Dancing", but I don't know why. Maybe because it's kawaii. Hey that rhymed! ^-^

Here's a funny Are-Oh-Vee related memory. When I would call the request line at about 1AM. (that's when the show came on) A month later when my dad would get the phone bill he would get mad because I made "long distance" calls to either Costa Mesa or Santa Monica depending which area code the request line had when I started watching it was a number in the 949 area code then they changed to a number in the 310 area code. My dad would get mad, but the calls were made in the same state and the fee was usually like 20¢. It was a little more if I had more of a conversation than request a video.

Read this Bee-elle-oh-gee

I was looking around for my old videos of Are-oh-vee. I was going to transfer them to DVD back when my family got a DVD/VHS recorder. It’s been about 5 years since we had it and I’ve only made about 5 DVDs and there are a lot more videos left.

I told my mom I could keep the videos at my own apartment. Which is a joke reference to what I saw Ferguson talk about on his show. My mom didn’t see it or understand what I was making reference to, but thought it was funny. Äss Mode.

Here's an article about the last show number 500.

Maybe I'll post some old blogs I wrote about the show in the archives. I haven't decided yet.

I don't Wanna Read 'Rat Droppings'! (2 kinds of titles)

I was thinking about going to a local craft store I found on yelp. I don't know it got mixed reviews. When I called the store I wasn't impressed maybe when I go there it will be different or the same.
There are only 2 outcomes.

I'm having a hard time naming my comic. I wanted to call it "closet nerd" but that was already taken. I don't want to give it a dumb or disgusting name like "rat droppings". I could just imagine people saying "Did you just read the newest issue of 'Rat Droppings'? The name is dumb."

I'm sad about Edge retiring, but his health was in jeopardy. I still think of all those rehashed feuds he had with Cena. I'm no Edge head, but I'm sad. I wonder how he will be utilized? A figure head, commentator, or maybe an agent?

Weakness for Gel Pens and doll Clothes

My mom says my weakness it gel pens. I don't know maybe. I'd say diary supplies as a whole including pens and diaries.

Lately I've been showing a weakness for Mattel Winx Club doll clothes. I decided now that since I have a Stella doll I'm going to focus on getting Stella's outfit pieces.

original casual outfit and platforms
dance outfit clothes (yellow dress and yellow platforms)
shopping outfits and shoes
Singsational shoes

Praise my Dance Moves

I found this great site that gives all the "Praise You" video dance moves. When I first saw that video which I had recorded off the tv on a VHS tape. I thought it was so funny! I use to watch it a lot! When nobody was watching or around I'd watch the video and dance along with it.

After a while when I would hear the song at home on the radio I'd spontaneously break into the dance moves from the video, and confuse my parents. (I was about 15 at the time) My favorite dance moves are jumping in the air and the fish move. The dancing looks pretty silly when one person does it.

I liked the song "Praise You" so much I wanted it to be my high school's graduation song. (I had no say in that kind of matter) The choir could have sang along to it, and did the dance moves from the video. It would have been better than "I Believe I can Fly" by R Kelly while the choir sang along and flapped their arms.

My dance moves rival those of Napoleon Dynamite and Finn Hudson.

It beats strange punch dancing from the late 90s. I'm not sure what that really was.

I should find that old tape!

How does it feel Like

I added "Let Forever Be" to my exercise songs. It's a good song to exercise to. I really like the video and the dance moves that go along with it. That video is kinda trippy. I just hope that after I listen to the song there won't be a bearded man drumming outside my bedroom window.

Gonna Make you Sweat

I decided to start an exercise regiment. I need some songs I can dance to. I preferably want 90s songs.

Here are some of the songs I'm going to get:
"This is Your Night" Amber
"Rump Shaker" Wreckx-n-Effect
"Praise You" Fatboy Slim
"Crush" Jellyhead
"C'mon Ride the Train" Quad City DJs

Possibly "Barbie Girl" Aqua "Good Vibrations" Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch "Gonna Make you Sweat" C+C Music Factory.

Too Advanced

After watching Wrestlemania, and seeing Snooki I had a strange dream about Guidos and tanning.

I went shopping and manged to find a great Glee Rachel diary for $1 and I couldn't pass it up. I can use it to write about my aspirations and my crushes. J/K :P

I found some nostalgic glitter hair clips (90s style), but I decided to save my money and not buy them. I was just going to use them for reference anyway.

Why did the WWE announce a Wrestlemaia match about 1 year in advance? Rock and Cena could be good could be bad provided they end up wrestling each other and there are no problems like injuries. I really wanted to see Cena wrestle The Undertaker for Wrestlemania 28 provided Taker is healthy enough to do it. When was the last time they wrestled a 1 on 1 match at a PPV 2003? I remember Cena cutting a promo while he peed on a grave. This was back when he was a rapper heel.

Thoughts on Wrestlemania 27

After having not watched a WWE program in 7 months although I did read tv show summaries for a few months.

I missed the beginning I caught part of the Rock's promo.

The Edge and Del Rio match was good. I thought Del Rio was going to win and get a push. When Edge was vandalizing the car it made me think of the "Black or White"video and it also brought back memories of Cena vandalizing JBL's limo before Wrestlemania 21. (one of my favorite Cena moments) :P *0*

I thought Rey was going to wear an Alice in Wonderland inspired outfit. I would have been strange to see Rey in a pinafore. He dressed as Captain America instead.

Hearing Zack Ryder's rendition of "Friday" I could have done without.

I missed the 8 man tag match because I was getting food.

The segment with the Rock and Mae Young was ok. I was wondering when she would pop up.

I liked the Randy Orton CM Punk match.

I really liked the Peewee Herman segment.

Who knew Cole has so many tattoos? His outfit was funny he looked like he belonged on a high school wrestling team. JR doing commentary was great! It's good to hear is voice again. The match was dumb, but funny. I thought Cole was going to fight dirty. Booker doing the Spinaroonie was great.

The Undertaker and Triple H match was very good. I was happy that Triple H didn't come out in a loin cloth again. It brings back bad memories. Taker's new song "Ain't no Grave" kept making me think of the music video. I can't really associate it with Taker. Taker's injury was it legit or not? I'm not sure. I'll say partially.

I thought the tag team match with Snooki was going to be worse.

I was disappointed by Cena's match, and the intro. Hey Cena let me think of a good intro for you next year. How about riding a dolphin to the ring? He lost again this year what is his win/loss record? 8-2? That sounds right. His 2 losses were at 27 and 24.

I was disappointed there was not a money in the bank match.

I don't Remember a Moment I Tried to Forget

I usually don't take advice from songs, but I did from the 30 Seconds to Mars song "Closer to the Edge". I had an epiphany when I heard that song. It really spoke to me; which is funny since I really don't listen to that band. What is that song really about? A relationship? religion? the world? Or is it one of those songs with a vague meaning? I personally think it's about doing what you need to do and not having any regrets.

Pricing Fool

While I was trying to watch Fallon somebody was singing loudly and badly at 12:44 AM. This went on for about 15 minutes. After I thought about it could this have been am April Fools joke? The signing was pretty bad. I could hear it from at least 3 houses away.

I was disappointed Jimmy Fallon didn't read my tweet on the air. I thought this one was actually good.

The price is right 10,000th something episode was really funny! It was really an April Fools episode. Too bad Mimi wasn’t in this one. This was more of a mishap show. There was a lot of funny things that happened. I think the mention of the 10,000th was a nod to the show celebrating milestones. It was something for the loyal friends and true. (too bad they don't use that phrase anymore)

When squeeze play wouldn’t work it reminded me of when it didn’t back in the Barker era. It would have been funnier if after it squeezed and drew revealed the price it fell out of the game. This really happened on the show (non-April fools)

I loved Drew’s literal instructions on how to get tickets to the show by going online. It was like he was talking to my parents who are around his age.

Richard was a crazy contestant who just added to the craziness. It was funny when the jumped in the shower! I liked when the contestants row display didn't work. When the screen that they use for trips didn't work I thought it would have been funny if they had used those old pictures they used before they had the screens.

Here are some ideas they could have done that they didn’t:
Upside down price tags
Using those old pictures for trips
Having drew read a blank card that has the price on it for bidders row
Having the wheel not beep and making the audience do it.
Have the inflatable toys deflate on stage
Have the number display on the big wheel not work
